Basically you post a Pokemon whose name starts with the letter we're on. We start out with A, than B, than C, etc. If no Pokemon exist for the current letter, you may skip it.

You can post any picture of any Pokemon starting with the letter we're on.

Only Rule: You MUST add the picture of the Pokemon as a 'Picture Attachment' to your post. So if it's not on your computer, you must download it to your computer and than upload it to your post by using the 'Picture Attachment' feature when you're replying. You can also post a description about the pokemon and picture you chose (just so you can earn extra Viz for a bigger post).

I'll go first.

Electrode for E.

now, a short song about this... ball... of happiness:

You start with a roundish ball,
Then it starts to crack in half...
You color in the bottom half

That was a lovely song sung by a guy named Suzukisan.

now, for some fun facts:

Until Generation III, Electrode had the highest base Speed of any Pokémon. However, it still has the highest base Speed of all Electric-type Pokémon.

In Red, Blue, FireRed, and LeafGreen, players can obtain an Electrode at a level as low as 3 by catching a Pikachu in Viridian Forest, evolving it, and trading it to an old man on Cinnabar Island.

Electrode has a short song dedicated to it, which is sung by Suzukisan.

Like Voltorb, some Poké Ball items in the Power Plant turn out to be Electrode. Electrode is nearly three times the size of Voltorb, which was already much bigger than the average baseball-sized Poké Ball, meaning this mix-up would be technically impossible.

Despite being an Electric-type, Electrode, and its pre-evolution Voltorb, did not learn any Electric-type moves via level-up until Generation III.

All of that was stolen off of bulbapedia. your welcome. Also, and we do sprites of the pokemon, too?

F: Frosslass
(note: all my pictures will be the official Ken Sugimori artwork from Bulbapedia. Why? Because that's just the way I like it)
Frosslass is unique in that it is the only dual-type Ice/Ghost Pokemon.
Frosslass is also the only Ghost type pokemon to learn Wake-Up Slap by level-up, and the only ghost type that cannot learn Will-O-Wisp.
Frosslass is one of only three Ghost type Pokemon not in the Indeterminate egg group. The others are Sableye (humanshape) and Shedinja (Mineral).
If you don't count Shedinja (due to it's odd way of "evolving" if you can call it that), then Frosslass is the only Ghost type Pokemon that evolves from a non-ghost type.

Like nate I also prefer the artwork from Bulbapedia.
G is for Gengar!
Gengar is tied with Froslass for the fastest Ghost-type Pokémon, with a base Speed of 110, and has the highest base Special Attack stat of any Ghost-type or Poison-type Pokémon at 130.
Isn't Gengar awsome

Shane: you didn't read the "only rule" did you?

With H we have:
Houndoom!
So, some facts about Houndoom are:
Houndoom and it's pre-evolution Houndour are the only dual-type Dark/Fire Pokemon.
They are also the only Pokemon to have fire as their secondary type.
They are the only fire types to not be in the red, yellow, or brown color category.

L: Lumineon

It evolves from Finneon at level 31

Gen IV Sprite:

Fun Facts:
Lumineon, along with its pre-evolution Finneon, are the only non-Bug-type Pokémon to learn the move Silver Wind by leveling up, and the only Water-type Pokémon to learn it at all.

It competes for food with Lanturn.

Additionally, they are also the only non-Flying-type Pokémon learning U-turn by leveling up.

Up next, brought to you by the letter N, we have...
Ninetales!

Ninetales' name was originally two words
In the Pokemon TCG for GBC, its name is misspelled as "Ninetails"
Despite its Pokedex descriptions, Ninetales can in no way lay a curse on its opponent in battle. It can only learn Curse by TM in Gen II, and even then, due to its typing, it can only alter its stats.
Despite implications from its Pokedex entries, Ninetales can by no means learn Revenge.

BTowns: Denied, that's not a real Pokemon, it shouldn't count (nor should Missingno, Egg, BadEgg, etc).
Though there are only three Q Pokemon to work with (Quagsire, Quilava and Qwilfish), so we will cycle through them alot

Now for Rattata, one of the most common Pokemon of all time.
Trivia: Out of all the pure Normal-type Pokémon found in the first route of each region (Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, and Bidoof), Rattata has the highest base stat total.

Shedinja:
Shedinja is the only Pokemon whose HP IV cannot be determined (because it only ever has one).
Shedinja has the lowest base-stat total of all fully-evolved Pokemon. It is also the only fully-evolved Pokemon with a base-stat total lower than its pre-evolution (this is due to its low HP stat)
Shedinja is one of only two ghost type Pokemon who cannot learn Psychic, the other being Rotom.
Due to its ability, Shedinja has the most immunities of all Pokemon: 12.

Umbreon is not obtainable in FireRed and LeafGreen due to lack of a time system, which sorta sucks since the Eevee line is really cool.
But at least you can get one by trading from Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald.
Anyway, here's Umbreon.

# Vaporeon is tied with Umbreon and Leafeon for tallest Eevee evolution.

* It is also the heaviest Eevee evolution.
* Both of these facts make it the largest Eeveelution.

# Vaporeon has the highest HP base stat of the Eeveelutions.
# Vaporeon is the only Water-type that appears in field section of Pal Park.
# In Generation I, Vaporeon had a notably different design with all black ears, fins on each leg, and a fin running down the entire length of its back. All of these details were removed in Generation II. Notably, these details weren't present in its original R/G artwork.
# Despite being described as the "Bubble Jet Pokémon", Vaporeon can not learn Bubble. It can, however, utilize TM11 (BubbleBeam) in Generation I.
# Vaporeon is the only Eeveelution that does not share any weakness with another

My second fav. of the Eeveelutions <3

And now, brought to you by the letter W, we have...
Wartortle!
Well, uh, Bulbapedia only had this in Wartortle's trivia section:
"Even though Wartortle's ears are depicted lighter than its face in the official Sugimori stock art and most of its game sprites, the official promotional pictures usually have the ears the same color as its face. "
So, uh, that's it, I guess.

Xatu cus there's no other x pokemon.
Trivia from bulbapedia
* Xatu currently is the only Pokémon whose name begins with the letter X.
* Xatu shares the same species name with Flygon. They are both known as the Mystic Pokémon.
* The Xatu in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon sometimes speaks in a backward fashion, similar to famed Star Wars character Yoda.
* Despite being able to learn Dream Eater, it cannot learn any attacks, though breeding or other legitimate means, to put opponents to sleep.

Whoa, some people keep forgetting to read the only rule. Nice going, guys.
Z is for: Zapdos!
(all this is stolen from Bulbapedia)
* Of all legendary Pokémon with fixed in-game locations, Zapdos can be obtained with the fewest number of badges: 3. In the Generation I games and their remakes, one can catch Zapdos with only the Boulder Badge, Cascade Badge, and Soul Badge.
* In Generation I, Zapdos was the only dual-type Electric Pokémon, as Magnemite and Magneton did not gain a secondary type until Steel was introduced in Generation II.
* Zapdos shares the same species name with Elekid and Electabuzz. They are all known as Electric Pokémon.
* Zapdos and Jolteon have almost the same Japanese name, a final s being the only difference.
* Zapdos and the Chinchou evolution family (without Volt Absorb) are the only Electric-type Pokémon that receive neutral damage from Electric-type moves.
* Zapdos is the only one of the legendary birds to not have a double weakness to Rock.
* It is so far the only dual-type Electric/Flying Pokémon.
* Zapdos shares its cry with 'M.
* Zapdos is the only one of the legendary birds to never be seen on its feet in a sprite: it is always in the air.
* In Generation II, Zapdos was given an additional toe pointing forward on each foot giving it three. However, Pokémon Stadium 2 shares the same 3-D model for Zapdos as its Generation I 3-D games, Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Snap, so in that game, it still only has two.

A is for Abomasnow
Trivia from Bulbapedia:
* Alongside its pre-evolution, Snover, as well as Exeggcute, Exeggutor, and Celebi, Abomasnow has the most weaknesses in the game, with 7 types super-effective against it.
* Abomasnow is the first Pokémon in alphabetical order, a title previously held by Abra.
* Abomasnow and Ludicolo, along with their pre-evolutions, are the only Grass-type Pokémon not weak to Ice-type moves, due to their secondary types.
* Out of all the Grass-type Pokémon, Snover and Abomasnow are the only two that cannot learn Sunny Day, possibly due to it being part Ice-type.
* Abomasnow is the only Pokémon so far with a base stat total of 494.

B is for... Blastoise!
* Blastoise, like Ho-Oh, Dialga, and Palkia, shares the first letter of its name with the game it is the mascot of: Blue.
* Blastoise shares the same species name with Kabuto and Kabutops. They are all known as the Shellfish Pokémon.
* Blastoise has the highest base Special Defense of all fully evolved starter Pokémon.
* In Pokémon Stadium 2, there is a trainer in the eighth battle of Poké Cup Ultra Ball R-2 who has a Blastoise with both Haze and Mirror Coat. However, it is impossible to breed both of these moves on the same Blastoise until Generation III.
* Blastoise is the only fully evolved form of a Kanto starter that does not have a secondary type.

And now, brought to you by the letter E, is:
Exeggutor!
* Exeggutor is one of the five Pokémon with seven weaknesses, the others being its pre-evolution, Snover and Abomasnow, and the legendary Celebi.
* While Melvin's Exeggutor waves goodbye to Ash and his friends at the end of The March of the Exeggutor Squad, additional heads can be seen in the back; this has, to date, appeared in no other media.
* Two of Ash's Pokémon in the anime have evolved after fighting and defeating Exeggutor. Ash's Charmander evolved into Charmeleon after defeating several Exeggutor, with some help from Melvin's fire power. Later on, Ash's Krabby evolved into Kingler after defeating Mandi's Exeggutor in the first round of the Indigo Plateau Conference.
* Exeggutor and Roserade are tied for the highest Special Attack stat of all Grass-type Pokémon.
* Exeggutor is Tsunekaz Ishihara's favorite Pokémon. He used it all throughout the debugging and testing of Pokémon Red and Green.
* Oddly, Exeggutor's Gold sprite is the same as its Yellow sprite, only different colors.
* Despite its artwork depicting it sitting down, only its Silver sprite shows it sitting down.

(as usual, both the picture and the facts are taken from Bulbapedia)

That was not the letter F.
For F, we'll have...
Feraligatr, my favorite Johto starter! (final form, anyways... although I still like Totodile best)
* Feraligatr is the tallest final form of a starter Pokémon, at 7 feet and 7 inches (2.3 meters).
o Feraligatr is also the starter that reaches its final form the earliest, doing so at level 30. Coincidentally, Totodile evolves into its secondary form, Croconaw, at level 18, the latest of any starter Pokémon, tied with Turtwig into Grotle.
+ Feraligatr is also the heaviest fully evolved Water-type starter.
* The lack of a vowel between the T and R in Feraligatr is due to the ten character limit on Pokémon names, which also affects Victreebel.
* Feraligatr is the only Pokémon to have more than four syllables in its name, with five.
* Feraligatr shares the same base stats with Blastoise, just in a different order.

G is for Giratina! Trivia from bulbapedia
* Giratina is the only member of its trio that does not have the first letter of the game it is mascot to match the first letter of its name.
* Giratina is the only dual-type Pokémon that has weaknesses to both of its own types, as well as the only Ghost-type legendary Pokémon.
* No other Pokémon has the same type combination as Giratina.
* Giratina has the highest HP stat of all legendary Pokémon, however, it is tied with non-legendaries Slaking and Drifblim and beaten by Snorlax, Wailord, Wobbuffet, Chansey, and Blissey, all non-legendary.
* Giratina is one of very few non-Flying-type Pokémon that is able to learn Fly. The others are: Vibrava, Flygon, Latios, and Latias (all four of which have the ability Levitate), Mew, Smeargle, and Arceus (all three of which can learn all HM moves). It is the only one who does not permanently keep Levitate. Additionally, before the revelation of its Origin Forme, it was unique in learning Fly but not having legitimate access to Levitate at all.
* It is one of eight Pokémon which can change forms, the other seven being Castform, Deoxys, Cherrim, Burmy, Rotom, Shaymin, and Arceus. Giratina's Origin Forme is only available in Pokémon Platinum and later games.
o It is the only member of its trio with the ability to change forms.
o This makes it the only version mascot that has different forms.
* In Diamond and Pearl, Giratina is met at level 70, while Dialga or Palkia are met at level 47, but in Platinum, Giratina is met at level 47, while Dialga and Palkia are met at level 70.
* Among all members of the Dragon trio, Giratina is the only one not having Special Attack as its highest stat, having HP as its highest stat.
* Giratina, as of Platinum, is the only Pokémon to come out from above instead of from the left of the screen during the start of the battle.
* When Giratina first appears in battle in the Distortion World, it does not have a shadow (as there is no "ground" on the other side of the field), however, after using Shadow Force or breaking out from a Poké Ball, it will have one.
* The first shown sprite of its Origin Forme was not used in Platinum.
* Giratina is the only one of the dragon trio with a catch rate of 3.
o In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Giratina is the only one of the dragon trio without a 100% recruit rate.
* In its Origin Forme, Giratina has the highest Attack stat of all Ghost-type Pokémon.
* Giratina's Altered Forme is the second heaviest of all Pokémon, surpassed only by Groudon; however, its Origin Forme is the fourth heaviest.
* Giratina is the only Pokémon in a legendary trio that is separated from the other members of its group in the Pokédex; Heatran and Regigigas separate Giratina from Dialga and Palkia.
* Giratina is the only Pokémon of its trio whose signature move is not of the Dragon-type.
o It is also the only Pokémon of its trio whose signature move is in the Physical category.
* Giratina is the only one of its trio without a jewel located somewhere on its body.
o Therefore, it cannot learn Power Gem, unlike the other members of its trio.
* Giratina is considered to be the forgotten one among itself, Dialga and Palkia, even though all three were created by Arceus.
* Giratina is the only Pokémon that is able to successfully use the Griseous Orb; a Ditto that transforms into an Origin Forme Giratina during battle will immediately change back into Altered Forme (unless in battle with it in the Distortion World).
* In Platinum, if Giratina is knocked out in the Distortion World, it can be battled again in Turnback Cave (and thus in Altered Forme).
o If it is defeated a second time in the Turnback Cave battle, it will reappear in one week for another battle. It shares this trait with Heatran. However, the items rewarded for completing Turnback Cave's maze will be unavailable during this time.
* In interviews Junichi Masuda and Takeshi Kawachimaru did for G4, it was said that Giratina and its Distortion World were created to be personifications of antimatter; this is bluntly stated and confirmed in HeartGold and SoulSilver by Cynthia.
* Giratina is the only Pokémon that appears last in a regional Pokédex listing that is not an event-exclusive Pokémon.
* Giratina's footprint appears in Platinum only if the Altered Forme is encountered before the Origin Forme is; this can only occur by trading a Giratina in from another game. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, regardless of which Forme of Giratina is encountered first, its Pokédex page will feature the footprint of Altered Forme.
* Giratina's roar in the movie is Mothra's death cry roar.
* While Giratina is preparing to use its signature move Shadow Force, the player will be unable to throw a Poké Ball at it - attempting to do so will trigger a message that the player cannot throw a ball at something they cannot see.
* It is the only legendary Pokémon available in all five of the Generation IV main series games without trading.
thats a lot of trivia.

And that brings us to H (I'm repeating letters, I need to slow down some):
Hippowdon!
* Hippopotas and Hippowdon are currently the only Pokémon whose male and female sprites show completely different colors.
* Hippowdon's species is Heavyweight Pokémon; however, it is only the the 16th heaviest Pokémon currently known.
* In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, both Hippowdon and Hippopotas have the same recruit rate, something rarely found with Pokémon of the same evolutionary line.
(trivia's a bit underwhelming, dont'cha think?)

Take a normal type, like a Jigglypuff, against a ghostly Gengar the battle's real tough!
And Thunderbolt's a great electric attack
Till you get ground out by a Marowak!
What kind of Pokemon are you? How do you do the things you do?
(lol, couldn't resist)
So, yeah, Jigglypuff's next.
* The Jigglypuff in the Smash Bros. series and Rough, Tough Jigglypuff have green eyes like a shiny Jigglypuff.
* Jigglypuff's evolutionary family shares the same species name with Qwilfish and Drifloon. They are all known as Balloon Pokémon.
* Jigglypuff's Crystal still sprite is different from that of Gold and Silver, making it one of few Pokémon to have three distinctly different sprites in Generation II.
* Jigglypuff in the 3D games, anime and the official promotional pictures usually has green eyes and tea rose pink fur, resembling more closely the shiny version than the normal one.
(yet again, the trivia's underwhelming)

Slow down nate, you have nearly every second post by the looks of it.
Don't make me invoke the crazy house rule... lol

L is for Lugia, who is alot better then Ho-Oh in my opinion thank you very much HG fans.

Lugia is the only non-Water-type to learn Hydro Pump by level-up.
Lugia has the second highest Special Defense of all Psychic-types, only being beaten by Deoxys in Defense forme.

Lugia is also the ultimate Shadow Pokémon.
Lugia is also the leader of the legendary birds.
And finally, Lugia is the only known Pokémon that learns Aeroblast.

Magnezone
* Magnezone and its evolutionary line have twelve resistances and one immunity, making them the most resistant Pokémon to date. With the addition of Magnet Rise, which makes them immune to Ground-type attacks for a short period of time, their only double weakness is negated.
* Magnezone's Sugimori artwork and in-game menu sprite show that the poles of its magnets are red and blue, but in its Diamond and Pearl sprite and in its anime appearances, none of its magnets have color on the end.
o In Pokémon Platinum this oversight was corrected. The blue in its sprite is deeper than in the art and on its pre-evolutions, however.
o As seen in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, Magnezone may have the capability to "turn on and off" the colors.
* Magnezone and its pre-evolution Magneton have National Pokédex numbers that differ by 380, more than any other two Pokémon related by evolution.
* Magnezone has the highest Special Attack of any Electric-type Pokémon, and highest Special Attack of any non-legendary Steel-type Pokémon.
* Magnezone loses the ability to learn Tri Attack upon evolution. This references the fact that the Magnemite were exposed to magnetic waves causing them to fuse, rather than all three of them working together.
* Magnezone and its pre-evolved forms are the only Electric-type Pokémon to learn Zap Cannon naturally.
* Magnezone's role in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness is often thought to be a reference to Robocop.

Sorry for posting so much, I guess my Pokemon knowledge needs an outlet. Anyways, N is: Noctowl!
* Noctowl is the only Pokémon to be captured in its shiny form by a main character in the anime, as well as being the first shiny Pokémon seen in the anime.
* The inside of Noctowl's wings are only seen in Emerald.
Short, I know, but that's all BP had.

You both fail . We're on O: Octillery!

* Octillery is the only non-Rock-type Pokémon, aside from Wormadam's Sandy Cloak form, to learn Rock Blast. It is also the only non-Poison Pokémon to learn Gunk Shot by leveling up.
* Octillery is capable of learning 15 different-typed moves, discounting Hidden Power. The only type moves it cannot learn are Dragon and Ghost.
* Remoraid and Octillery are the only non-legendary, non-Ice-type Pokémon to learn Ice Beam naturally that do not gain Ice as a secondary type through evolution.
o Excluding SolarBeam, Octillery can learn all moves that contain "Beam" in their name via TM, leveling up, or move tutor.
* Octillery is the only Pokémon so far to have an attack specifically named after it. In Japanese, "Octazooka" is known as "Okutank Cannon"
* Although it is said in many Pokédex entries to have a rock hard head, it cannot learn Headbutt, or does not have the ability Rock Head.
Uh, I'd put in an image attachment, but I kinda accidentally forgot it the first time, so I have to edit my post... hope you're not mad.

lmao i thought that was a hoothoot haha my bad anyways P is for primeape

Primeape's abilities are similar to those of its pre-evolution, Mankey, only stronger. When Primeape becomes furious, its blood circulation is boosted. In turn, Primeape's muscles are made even stronger. However, it also becomes much less intelligent at the same time.

Q: Quagsire!
Unfortunately, these Q Pokemon don't have much trivia .

* Quagsire's Crystal Pokédex entry states that it doesn't care if it bumps its head, but its phrases in Mystery Dungeon state it saying it will try not to bump its head.
* Quagsire's Pokédex entry from Ash's Pokédex in Once in a Blue Moon states that Quagsire live in fresh, clean, drinkable water but in Generation IV games Quagsire appear in the Great Marsh and Route 212, a marshy area.

S is for Smeargle!!

The artist pokemon!

It's tail is used as a brush to mark it's territory.

Although not very powerful, it excellent speed.

It has an ability that prevents it form getting confused

Even though it only knows sketch, it can copy moves to create an advantage for smeargle.

U is for Unknown!
Special abilities

Unown's only known move in battle is the enigmatic Hidden Power.

In the anime, they are capable of reading the thoughts of other lifeforms. Great numbers of them are capable of warping reality to suit the dreams and wishes of whoever they read the thoughts of and is in control of the Unown.

Their mind reading ability seems to suggest that they should be able to learn Mind Reader. However, they can only do this when more Unown are present, so it could be a shared effort rather than an ability unique to each Unown.

Different forms

Unown has 28 different forms, one for each letter of the alphabet, as well as '!' and '?'. These are chronicled in the Unown Dex in Generation II and the Unown Notebook in HeartGold and SoulSilver. The '!' and '?' forms were not introduced until Generation III.

Physiology

Unown are floating, flat, eye-shaped Pokémon with appendages that make them resemble letters. They are black all over.
Gender differences

Trivia
Unreleased Unown

* In Spell of the Unown, Professor Oak had some pictures of unreleased Unown on his computer. They resemble a few Greek alphabet letters, especially σ (lowercase sigma), Σ (capital sigma), Π (pi) and Ω (omega). However, lowercase letters have never been made into Unown before, so this may be an error or a misinterpretation by fans. The top-middle Unown may be also a variation of an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, the Eye of Horus, or the Russian letter Я (ya). This may lead to the conclusion that there are more forms of Unown, being the prototypes of other known (or unknown) alphabets.
o It is, however, possible that the creators of the carvings drew Unown in the form of other letters and symbols, even if actual living equivalents did not exist.
* Unown apparently generate a radio
signal where they are found in large numbers, which can be listened to by any Trainer with a PokéGear.
* In the third movie, Molly Hale owned a book that had Unown on the cover of it.
* It is the first non-legendary to be in a central role in a Pokémon movie.
* Unown, Nidorina, Nidoqueen, and Ditto are the only non-legendary, non-baby Pokémon that cannot breed with Ditto.
* Despite being in the book of legendary Pokémon, Unown is not considered a legendary Pokémon.
* The two punctuation Unown have half-closed eyes; all alphabetic Unown have fully open eyes.
* If a player does not have Unown's Pokédex data on a Generation II game when in Oak's lab in Pokémon Stadium 2, Unown's Pokédex number is listed as 252 instead of 201. This happens regardless of which Pokédex display mode is selected.
* It has the smallest movepool of all Pokémon, learning only one move, Hidden Power, and being unable to learn any other moves through TMs, HMs, and Pokémon breeding (as it cannot breed). It shares this distinction with Ditto, and Smeargle, however they can potentially expand their movepools through the use of Transform and Sketch respectively.
* Despite having their own movie about their power, they are relatively weak in the games due to a very shallow move pool.
o Their power of warping reality is barely acknowledged in the games. Only the Pokédex data in Pokémon Platinum even hints to their power, saying that "an odd power is said to emerge" when two or more are together. Nothing special occurs when two Unown are sent out side by side in a double battle, however.
* Generation II is the only Generation in which all Unown have their own separate animations. Consequently, Unown ? (question mark) and ! (exclamation mark) never experience this because in all following generations, the Unown share the same animations.

Origin

Their appearances are corruptions of the modern Latin alphabet. The shapes of the Unown are used like runes in the Pokémon world, although in Generation III their place has been taken by Braille.
Name origin

Unown's name is a corruption of the word unknown.

Mario Bros.! You're back!
V is for Vespiquen!
* Vespiquen is the only non-Poison-type Pokémon that can learn Toxic by leveling up.
* Vespiquen's three signature moves, along with Hitmonlee (in Gen I only), the Porygon family, and the Cubone family (prior to Gen IV) comprise the most out of all Pokémon.
* Vespiquen is the only Bug-type Pokémon that has Pressure as its ability.
* Vespiquen is the slowest fully evolved Flying-type Pokémon.
* Vespiquen's Speed stat is lower then its pre-evolution, Combee.

So yeah...

Seeing as it's been a few days...

Y is for: Yanmega!
Yanmega and its pre-evolution, Yanma, are the only Pokémon whose names begin with the letter Y.
Yanmega has the highest base Special Attack stat, as well as the highest base stat total, of any Bug-type Pokémon.
Yanmega is the largest Bug-type Pokémon.
Yanmega is the last Bug-type Pokémon in National Pokédex order as of Generation IV.
In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, Yanmega is said to spit gooey silk. However, it's unable to learn String Shot naturally.
Its Platinum Pokédex entry suggests that it uses physical moves, however, its Special Attack stat is higher than its Attack stat.

The next Pokemon is:
Zangoose!
-It is well known for it's ongoing feud against Seviper.
-They have the personalities of Mongooses and Cats.
-The scars on their face represent blood.
-Over their long battles against Sevipers, they have grown an immunity to poison.
That's all I've got!

[edit]Oh great... I forgot to add a picture

C is for Chikorita! The grass type. Yes, my favorite Pokemon!

Fun Facts:
*Chikorita is very sentimental!
*You shouldn't mess with it's feelings!
*Should be loved with caution(Don't squish it while while you're sleeping with it)
*The Chikorita family is the only evolution family of a starter Pokémon to not have their names changed for the English release.
*In the anime, Chikorita has had the most Trainers out of the Johto starters. It has been trained by Ash, Casey, Vincent, Silver, and Lyra. However, Ash is the only one who is confirmed to not have received Chikorita as a starter.
*Chikorita is the tallest out of the unevolved starters at 2 feet 11 inches (0.9 meters).
-Due to this, it is the only starter Pokémon from Generations I-III that cannot be used in the Pokémon Jump minigame.
*In Pokémon Gold and Silver, Chikorita's body was yellow. It was changed to being light green in Pokémon Crystal to match its official artwork.

D is for Dewgong!
(sadly, we once again have a small trivia section )
* "Manaty" was the original English name for Dewgong.
* Dewgong is the first Ice Pokémon in National Pokédex order.
* Dewgong and Spheal's evolution line are the only Pokémon to have a "triple resistance," thanks to the Thick Fat ability.

E is for Electabuzz. Here's some info from Bulbapedia:

-Electabuzz is one of five Pokémon that initially did not evolve into or from another Pokémon, but now is part of a three-stage evolutionary line (the other four being Chansey, Magmar, Porygon, and Roselia).
-Electabuzz and Elekid share the same species name with Zapdos. They are all known as Electric Pokémon.
-Magmar and Electabuzz seem to be counterparts; both evolve in a very similar way (first at level 30, then after being traded holding an "-izer" item), and both are typically exclusive to one version of a pair of games. They also learn all their moves at the same levels, such as Fire Punch and ThunderPunch at Level 28. They even have the same special move when purified from Pokémon XD: Follow Me.
-Electabuzz is the only member of its family not to have some physical relation to an AC power unit. Elekid's head is shaped like a power plug while Electivire's back patterns look like a power socket.
-It is possible to obtain an Electabuzz at levels 15-18 on route 10 in generations II and IV. This is seemingly impossible since Electabuzz evolves from Elekid at level 30. This also means that an Electivire can be obtained as low as level 15

Electabuzz hates red. I bet he hates Magmar, too. o_0

ugh. i don't know any pokemon that start with the letter 'I' (that we haven't used) so i'll go with Igglybuff....

a disgustingly pink pokemon.

for some more viz, the trivia and more random stuff:
* Although the Pokédex states that when it starts rolling it becomes impossible to stop, it cannot learn Rollout by level-up.

Name origin

Igglybuff's name rhymes with Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff. Its Japanese name is a variation on Purin, the Japanese word for pudding, or the addition of an extra pu to Jigglypuff's Japanese name – a combination of 風船 fūsen, balloon, and 膨れる fukureru, to expand or inflate.

Other appearances
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Igglybuff only appears as a random trophy.
Trophy information

Igglybuff, which evolve into Jigglypuff, are so incredibly elastic that they always seem to be bouncing. They have stubby legs, so for these Pokémon, bounding from place to place is much faster than walking. Unlike its equally adorable relatives, Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, Igglybuff has red eyes.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky

An Igglybuff stars as the player character in the special episode Igglybuff the Prodigy. This Igglybuff is the unevolved Guildmaster Wigglytuff from the main story.

Physiology

Igglybuff is a small, bipedal balloon-like animal that is pink all over. It has a rounded tuft of hair on top of its head, a small swirl-like pattern on its forehead, and red eyes in contrast to the teal eyes of its later evolutions. Igglybuff have small, stubby limbs.

For J, we have
Jynx!
* Despite being a part Psychic-type, it can't learn a single Psychic-type move by leveling-up.
o It's pre-evolution Smoochum however, can.
* Before Generation IV, Jynx was the only Ice-type Pokémon that was able to learn Ice Punch by leveling up.
* Jynx is one of the few Pokémon who naturally learn a move in a game in one generation, but then never learn it again in another generation; in this case, the move is Thrash, in Generation I.
* Jynx and her pre-evolution, Smoochum, are the only Pokémon that learn Avalanche by leveling up.
* Jynx, together with her pre-evolution Smoochum, are the only Pokémon that have the combination Ice/Psychic.
* Jynx's Defense stat is the lowest of all fully evolved Ice-types.
* Until the introduction of Glaceon in Generation IV, Jynx had the highest Special Attack of all Ice Pokémon.
* As its Pokédex entries state that it speaks a language that sounds like human, the player, as a Pokémon, cannot understand anything of what it says in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, which would make it appear that Pokémon cannot normally understand human speech. However this contradicts several other forms of canon, such as the Pokémon anime and various manga works where Pokémon are able to understand human speech, especially evident by Team Rocket's Meowth.
* In Generation I, Jynx is the only Ice-type Pokémon that is not weak to Electric, since it is the only Ice-type Pokémon in those games that is not also Water or Flying.
* It should be noted that Jynx and Hypno have similar cries in the games, Jynx's is slower and lacks the extra noise at the end while Hypno's sounds slightly sped up and has a slight crashing sound at the end.

Controversy
Jynx originally bore a striking, but possibly coincidental, resemblance to entertainers in blackface. A strong case can be made for Jynx being a parody of or homage to the Japanese Ganguro and Yamanba fashion trends, which were extremely popular when Pokémon was first released, but it can't be denied that blackface-influenced characters have appeared elsewhere in anime and manga - examples can be found near the beginning of Osamu Tezuka's early graphic novel, Metropolis and also can be found with Dragon Ball Z's Mr. Popo.

As Pokémon became more popular in the US, this perceived similarity to a racist image from America's past offended some. In particular, it had offended children's book author Carole Boston Weatherford, who accused Jynx of being a racist stereotype in an article titled "Politically Incorrect Pokémon" in the magazine Black World Today, shortly after the anime episode Holiday Hi-Jynx aired. Episodes that contained Jynx in its original design were left unaired outside of Japan, including EP250 and portions of All Things Bright and Beautifly.

In response to this controversy, Nintendo changed Jynx's hands from dark blue to purple and its face from black to purple in Pokémon games, including in the English and international versions of Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Jynx has appeared since using its new design with no problems. However, in the Who's That Pokémon? section of It's Mr. Mime Time, Jynx appears with its original colorings.

(OK, yeah, that's all for Viz... but at least you learned something about it!

K is for Kanghaskan!

* It should be noted that the Glitch Pokémon 'M evolves into Kangaskhan. This is due to Kangaskhan's position in the game's internal programming, and is also why 'M (among other Glitch Pokémon) can also evolve into Rhydon.
* Kangaskhan is the last non-legendary Pokémon in the Fiore Browser.
* Kangaskhan is the only Pokémon that isn't a Dragon-type that learns Outrage via level-up.
* Interestingly, even with the advent of breeding and Baby Pokémon, the Baby Kangaskhan has yet to be made into a separate Pokémon, and as a result, all Kangaskhan are born with a baby already in its pouch.
* This is similar to what happens when a Chansey/Blissey breeds (without holding a Luck Incense), as the offspring will have an egg, already in its pouch.

M is for Metagross!

The genderless Steel/Psychic Pokemon!

Some fun facts:

* Metagross has the second highest base stat average of all non-legendary Pokémon, the first being Slaking. However, it is tied with the four other pseudo-legendary evolutions. Metagross is also tied with many other legendaries for base stat average, including Mew, Celebi, Deoxys, Latios and Latias.
* Metagross is the only pseudo-legendary that does not have a 4× weakness.
* Metagross evolves from its pre-evolution the earliest of all pseudo-legendary Pokémon.
* Metagross is the only pseudo-legendary that cannot learn any Dragon-type moves.
**-It is also the only genderless pseudo-legendary.
* Metagross's number in the Hoenn Pokédex and the Fiore Browser is the same: 192. This makes it one of thirteen Pokémon (only five evolution families) to have the same numbers in more than one Pokédex-like listing.
* Metagross has the highest Attack stat of any Steel-type and the second highest of any Psychic-type Pokémon after the Attack and Normal forms of Deoxys.
* Metagross is the fifth heaviest Pokémon, and the heaviest of all non-legendary Pokémon.
* Metagross and its evolutionary relatives are the only non-legendary Pokémon with a Catch rate of 3.
* Metagross's evolutionary line is the only pseudo-legendary that cannot be caught in the wild in the generation it was introduced in.

Name Origin:Its name may be a combination of metal and cross, referring to the mark on its face. It may also be derived from the words metal and gross, referring to its size.

O is for Onix. Here's some info.

-In Generation I, Onix was the longest Pokémon, but in Generation II, it was dropped to second place by its evolution Steelix. When Wailord was introduced in Generation III, it became the third longest.
-Onix is the largest Pokémon that evolves once.
-By being under the ownership of Bruno in Generation II, Onix is one of the few unevolved Pokémon that can evolve in the same generation as that of the Elite Four member to whom it belongs, the others being Dragonair, Shelgon, Haunter, and Sealeo. However, it's the only one where the Elite Four member doesn't own its evolved form.
-Onix, along with its evolved form, are the only non-Dragon-type Pokémon to learn DragonBreath by leveling up.
-Of all the Pokémon that can evolve, Onix has the highest base Defense.
-Onix is the largest Pokémon that can legally hatch from an egg.
-Onix and Swablu are the only dual-typed Pokémon that have their primary type change during evolution.
-In addition, Onix is the only Pokémon whose evolved form has a type-advantage against its predecessor, without that type being identical to both Pokémon (such as Dragon or Ghost).
-Most of Onix's sprites are positioned in a similar way to those of other games. The sprites for Pokémon Gold and Platinum are positioned similar to that of Red and Blue and the sprites used for Silver, Crystal, Diamond and Pearl are positioned like the Japanese Red and Green. The HeartGold and SoulSilver sprite resembles more closely the Crystal one. All the sprites of Generation III are also positioned similar to that of Red and Green, but inverse.
-The back sprite for the third generation is an edited version of the sprite used for Gold, Silver and Crystal.

S is for Scyther.
Scyther are very intelligent Pokemon, but they tend to keep to themselves.
They are loners, but are also very loyal Pokemon.
Scyther is similar in many ways to both dragons and the praying mantis, which it's design was partly based off.

w is for wartortle

Physiology

Wartortle are bipedal, indigo-blue turtle-like Pokémon with brown shells and long, furry tails and ears. Wartortle has small fangs protruding out of its mouth, brown irises, and three sharp claws on its arms. To maintain balance while swimming at high speeds, Wartortle move their unusual furry ears and tails. This tail, covered in rich, angelic thick fur, is so long that it sticks out a bit even when Wartortle withdraw into their shell. They use the fur to store air for extended underwater diving. As a Wartortle ages, algae may grow on its shell, and the color of its tail fur deepens.
Gender differences

None.
Special abilities

Wartortle can spit water out of its mouth at higher speeds than Squirtle. It can swim faster, as well. However, being bigger they are a little less maneuverable out of the water than Squirtle. Its shell also provides a great defense.
Behavior

Wartortle are loyal to their trainers. They are also more aggressive than Squirtle. They tend to hide in water when hunting and emerge to surprise their prey. They are known to be very tough Pokémon that often have scratches on their shell which serve as reminders of past battles. They are conceived to be a popular pet, as they are long-lived. Wartortle, and in particular their tails, are considered a symbol of longevity. It is said that this Pokémon can live for up to 10,000 years, although this is likely a myth.
Habitat
Water's-edge Pokémon

Wartortle can be found living on island beaches near the ocean, but their preferred habitat seems to be freshwater ponds and lakes. They are most common in Kanto.
Diet

Main article: Pokémon food

While it can feed on the usual omnivorous diet most Pokémon have, Wartortle mostly feeds on aquatic plants and small creatures.

Main article: Pokémon food

While it can feed on the usual omnivorous diet most Pokémon have, Wartortle mostly feeds on aquatic plants and small creatures.

sarahhasley : Wartortle's already been done .
alexanyways : That doesn't count!

OK, for mine... Y... Yanma again .
Yanma and its evolution, Yanmega, are the only Pokémon whose names begin with the letter Y. (the reason he's being done again)
Yanma weighs exactly the same as male player in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. It shares this characteristic with Sudowoodo, Skuntank, Togekiss, and Fearow.
Prior to Generation IV, Yanma could only learn one Flying-type move: Wing Attack, and could not learn any Bug-type moves via leveling up.
In Pokémon Gold and Silver, though, it could not learn any Flying-type moves.
In Gold and Silver, the spikes at the end of Yanma's tail are actually located under the tail.
Yanma is the last Pokémon in Johto Pokédex order that has the same number that it has in the New Pokédex, due to its evolution and the evolutions of Aipom, Lickitung, Piloswine, and Tangela.

H for Happiny

Happiny (Japanese: ピンプク Pinpuku) is a Normal-type baby Pokémon.

She evolves into Chansey when leveled up while holding an Oval Stone during the day, who evolves into Blissey via happiness.

Biology
Physiology

Happiny is a small Pokémon that is shaped like an egg. A Happiny has a soft, smooth light pink body. At the top of her head is a curly pigtail-like outgrowth that looks like hair, but has the same color and texture as her body. She has three round bumps on her forehead. Unlike her evolved forms, whose pouches are small and on their stomachs, her pouch surrounds the lower half of her body. In fact, it is the lower half of her body. The pouch resembles a diaper. It is red with a white stripe around its top. The pouch is rubbery and flexible, enabling the Happiny to put things into it with ease. Happiny are still babies and they cannot produce eggs yet. To make up for this, a Happiny will carry a white egg-shaped stone in her pouch to imitate Chansey and Blissey. However, if a Happiny carries an Oval Stone, she will be capable of evolving and then will be able to lay eggs of her own.
Gender differences

Happiny is a female-only species with no male counterpart.
Special abilities

In the anime, Happiny are shown to be extremely strong. Brock's has been seen lifting very heavy things above her head. Additionally, Happiny's field move in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, Crush, may also link to this.
Behavior

Happiny has a fascination for anything white and round. As such, she has the aforementioned habit of carrying a smooth white stone in her pouch to imitate her evolved forms. She may cry if she doesn't have a stone to hold. This usually occurs after birth, because all Happiny are born without stones in their pouches.

Brock's egg hatched into a Happiny in One Big Happiny Family!. Unusually, in contrast to Happiny's extremely low Attack stat in the games, it has amazing strength and can run with, pummel, and carry many heavy items and Pokémon for its size, such as having the ability to fling her trainer into the air with ease and carrying Ash's Grotle around in Jumping Rocket Ship!.

You shouldn't copy and paste from bulbapedia, it's cheating.

Continuing on, I is for Igglybuff. Igglybuff is jigglypuff's original form and it evolves when you get max friendship with it. I have only caught one on Pokemon Diamond for my pokedex.

Next up for K is...KINGLER! Kingler is my favorite wter pokemon for my pokemon leafgreen game and he looks very cool. I believe he is one of two crab-like pokemon, the other being krabby. (For those of you that think corphish and its evolved form count they don't because they're lobsters, not crabs!)
