So my "returning member" thread was pretty rushed and I didn't really give
updates on anything. A lot happened in the past couple years so I'll give some highlights.
This week I just finished my sophomore year of college. College has been a super enjoyable experience so far! I've made a ton of friends, tried a lot of things I hadn't before (mostly food-wise
), changed my
sleep schedule sometimes a bit too much, and learned quite a bit!
My freshman year was basically getting used to the whole college thing and meeting hundreds of people just constantly. It was weird living in a room with someone else for the first time. My roommate was a weird guy
and we had very different interests. The transition to living on campus was crazy and I didn't know anybody's names for at least the first month. I couldn't keep up. I enjoyed board/card game nights with friends!
My sophomore year was almost entirely different. I still met people every 5 seconds, but not as many as last year. I was much busier with the homework I had, but I still got to do stuff like watching through the Star Wars series with friends! I also bonded better with my roommate this year than I did with my previous roommate last year. Sadly, my roommate this year graduated!
Other than college stuff, I've grown closer with my family. It's been neat to bond over Mario with my brother. We even watched the Super Mario Bros. Super Show today! Also, I've been developing my skills at a lot of things this year: video games, video chats, basketball, baseball, ping pong, and more. I'm excited that my summer vacation has started!
