I use to use AMP as my Minecraft Server Management Software but that doesn't seem to be as supported as it use to be. It also doesn't seem to be very easy to install on any of my current servers. I'll use it if I can't find anything better but I was just curious if anyone knew of any other software which would make managing a Minecraft Server easier. Keep in mind that I'm not talking about the Server type like Spigot or Bukkit, but rather the software that can be optionally used to easily manage the server. But you can of course recommend which server type to use also.

The management software I'm currently considering is Multicraft. It costs money but it's cheap enough to not be an issue at all (I think like US $10).

When I get the new Java server up, I'll be importing all of the old worlds from years ago and it should have all of the original user data and plugins. It'll be almost exactly as it once was years ago. For those who don't know, I've sorta given up on running a Bedrock Server since everything is still in early development and they haven't come along far enough to be worth using.

I'm afraid I don't have any working knowledge of the technical sides of Minecraft, but I wanted to say that, despite being sorry to hear that the Bedrock server didn't pan out and that cross-platform play won't be a thing, I'm looking forward getting back on the old server, especially since my internet issue has been resolved and is now reliable for the first time in ages and I have access to Java Edition.

I can't say I know anything about hosting software but looking what you use to use vs what you're considering now I think the new one looks good to use. As far as server type goes I would honestly just go with whatever you used before to play it safe lol.

SonicOlmstead : Yeah I didn't plan to change server type unless there was a really good reason to change it. It's been a few years now and I wasn't sure if the one we use to use was obsolete. I've been very disconnected from the Java version of Minecraft over the past few years. I've pretty much been playing the Bedrock version exclusively.

m0ssb3rg935 : I'm excited to get it up and running. I'm excited to revisit the old creations and I really hope that it'll be able to maintain some activity. I'll continue work on it tomorrow.

I'm purchased Multicraft and am currently setting it up right now. I'm hoping to have something up by the end of the day and to have all of the content from the very old server up by next week.

For the record, I did attempt to set this up. In fact, I spent a few hours Friday and an hour yesterday. I don't know why but there's always unexpected obstacles when setting up stuff like this. I'll try again this upcoming week.

"Sometimes it just be like that", as it's said. We all appreciate the effort you always put in and we appreciate you keeping us updated. No rush, man.
