Super Mario 64. It revolutionized the gaming world. Great graphics for its time, taking place in a seemingly endless world where you could spend countless hours just enjoying the land. I would even give it a high replay value, which I couldn't bring myself to give to half of mario's other titles.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is my favorite Mario game because it is so fun. It is just a great game, where you lvl. up you character, making them stronger and better, and seeing them do great.

It is so a great game, that I really want another Mario Rpg game, but with Sonic, Mega Man, and all the great heroes.

My 2nd favorite game is Super Mario 3. It was an awesome and EPIC game.

I would say Super Mario Sunshine because I grew up with that game and I had loads of fun playing it. The worlds were really big and had many great challenges, improving from Super Mario 64. It seems weird that Mario has this water gun on his back, but it is an epic game.

Well, the Mario game that had the biggest impact on me was Super Mario 64. I got the game more or less when it was released and it blew my mind. Mario RPG has a special place in my heart too, since it was Mario and an RPG, what more could I ask for?

I dont know, I suppose I would say it is between Super Mario Brothers 3 and Super Mario 64.
From the original Mario games SMB3 is the one that stands out and shines, and SM64 was a great attempt at moving Mario into a 3D world.
The rest are mostly just lame spin offs or gimmicky attempts to rehash a classic character for a new market.

Super Mario Bros. was a revolution.
Super Mario World solved the solution.
While Mario Kart was family friendly,
Mario 64 was a 3D frenzy.
Super Mario RPG was utterly flawless.
In Sunshine, it was simply lawless!
And even now, the best one will be:
The Godfather of them all: Super Mario Bros. 3!

My all-time favorite is probably Super Mario 64. That game is purely amazing. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario World, and Super Smash Bros Brawl are high up there too. I love almost every Mario game though.
