I'm a night owl. I almost never sleep before 10:00 PM. (22:00) I usually end the night around 3:00 or 4:00 AM. But beyond that. I'm always going to bed between midnight and 4:00. It feels uncomfortable to turn in after the sun has already risen. Yet I never feel like I've gotten enough done if I go to sleep before the clock resets.

What about you, do you notice your own sleep cycles? I know that some people have erratic schedules, but maybe you tend to stick to one longer?

I love to sleep. Perhaps its the depression, but unconscious is my happy place. So I generally go to bed pretty early. I tend to go to bed between 10 and midnight depending on how I feel. I also have early morning college classes, so the sleep helps. I'm still terrible at waking up though.

I'm also a night owl. In fact, not long ago, I couldn't sleep for more than a couple hours if I turned in before 2 AM, no matter how tired I was.

I call it a day between 2 and 4 AM. I can stay for longer, if I slept through the day for example, but those are rare instances. Sometimes I can stay awake after going to sleep, simply because I tend to turn in as a way to induce my body to sleep despite not feeling like it yet.

I've kept this schedule for a very long time, even when I had early morning classes, so it's totally my regular sleep window. Time will say if I ever change it, even if it's just slightly, because I admit that shifting to between 1 and 3 AM would be nice.

pennylessz : I usually go to bed early around 8:30 or 9:00 and get up around 4:00 the next morning unless I have to work the night before then I don,t get to bed until 12:30 and only sleep about 5 hours before I get up mainly because I,m always an early riser although sometimes I,m up about 3:30 in the morning doing things I normally have to do around my place then I go back to sleep about an hour later for about another 2 hours

I am totally a morning person. It usually takes me about 10-15 minutes before I am fully awake but when I do I love it. Usually if I wake up around 6 or so I get homework and everything else I need to get done and then I'm ready for bed at around noon lol. Usually my friend that I work out with doesn't get off work until around 8 so I don't get to bed until 12 which kills me because I end up missing a good portion of the morning. So I would love to wake up early but it's just impossible for me right now.

I'm usually an overnight person (where I'm highly active during the overnight hours), but when it comes to the term of sleep, I usually sleep around the morning/early-afternoon hours (like 8:00 AM to 3:00 P.M.). Most of it is because of working during the overnight hours, and even on my off days, my body is so used to the overnight hours, that I usually don't get tired until around sunrise time for all 7 days of the week.
