Personally, the last time I experienced super-frigid weather that I can remember was a few years ago where it was so cold and so much snow came down that I couldn't get to school despite being only a couple houses away from it. I did have a few friends experiencing it, though, and they said pretty much the same thing everyone else's been saying. Hopefully everyone's staying inside and warm during this super-cold period of the year.

Never thought I'd say this in April but my kids had a snow day. Not because it's cold but because there's heavy snow mixed with ice rain, very strong winds, and somehow thunder and lightning

We had hail a few days ago. Sure, it wasn't very big and caused little to no problems, but hailing in April when we had literally zero rain in February kind of feels odd.

And well, we've also had our fair share of thunder and lightning for the last week, with more to come in the next days. Not surprising, because we're approaching a local holiday (the Holy Week) and it's almost a tradition to rain heavily on those days xD

We're not doing much better at the other side of the puddle regarding the climate, as you can see, at least in the south.

It's weird, it's only April, but we already had 90F degree temps this year, which seems weird to see 90F's in mid-April, because we usually don't start seeing 90F's until early/mid May.

Although that all might change this weekend, because my area supposed to get some kind of severe weather outbreak this weekend, and after it storms this weekend, it'll be 20F degrees cooler.
