If you want to buy Pokemon Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon and you go to Gamestop, you're going to pay $40 for it, $38 if it's pre owned.

Yeah that's the regular price for Pokemon games on the 3DS and it's definitely worth it but why do that when you can get more for less at Target?

As part of their plan to ditch 3DS games, Target is selling copies of the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Starter Packs. The pack comes with either US or UM along with a special legendary keychain and 12 Revives. That's right 12.

Nintendo has been selling the starter pack for over a year, so what makes this so special? It only costs $25 as part of the sale. You get $15 off the game plus a free key chain and Revives. Woah.

That's probably the best deal I've seen in Pokemon history. I already have Ultra Sun but I'm probably gonna trade or sell it and then get this one when I get a chance since there's still a few locations left in my city that have it.

As if I didn't have enough of a reason to stop by Target recently...That actually is a really good deal for a game that shouldn't be that cheap yet. I'll check both their website and my local Target and see what kind of stuff I can go for. I'm sure I can find something worth playing for a cheap price. Thanks for the thread about it, I never would have found out about it if you hadn't made it.

NovemberJoy : If I sell my copy at Gamestop for cash, I can get the bundle for only $10. That might not be worth it though for a keychain and 12 Revives though.

I can't find any Targets that have the cheap games anymore.

dark mode : Well, there's always online shopping. That's actually part of my plan...that and being in an area where Target probably won't have all their cheap 3DS games bought out too fast for me to capitalize on them.

NovemberJoy : This Starter Pack has already been discontinued for shipping, which is both very sad and very weird. Lots of their games have been discontinued for shipping so you have to go to the store.

I wish I knew they would be selling so fast. Yesterday when I found out about the $5 games i would have gotten like 5 games. Would have had to wait like a week for them to arrive but at least I'd be getting more than $100 worth in games for less than $30.

Just a little while ago I went to a Target that was in a low population area. I thought not that many people would be going and buying the games. But because there was fewer people in the city, they were selling fewer games to begin with and I couldn't get it.

This is why I sometimes hate living in Europe. I swear none of our stores do crazy actions like this. Everything stays its initial prize up until the end of its existence.

Not like I can just buy it from a store elsewhere as shipping costs might even cost more than the product in some cases.

Damn, I really wish I had a 3DS, that's such a good deal. Pokemon games never go on sale, and even used versions still sell for $30+, even after the games have been out for five or more years.

Lol it probably wouldn't have done any good if you had a 3DS or if they were doing the sales there too. The ad says January 6th to 12th. They sold out so fast that they already took all of the sale products off of the website a little while ago.

WOW! I can't believe what I'm seeing. If they're doing THAT for Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, then I can only imagine what we'll see for Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee in a year or two.

Honestly, I don't remember the last time I've seen a sale for a mainline Pokemon game. Usually they always just stay at that price. But there was one time a few years back where there was a buy 1 get 1 free sale on select 3ds games. Pokemon X and Y were included in that sale, so I guess that counts as a great sale. I can't believe I forgot about that.
