tgags123 : Go for it man! Looks like you've got a 7 pointer for Yellow secured today as well as the Blue jersey. At this rate you'll make it there for sure. I'd love it for this rivalry to end in an all time record.

I'm hoping to crack 400 points myself by the end of this TdV. It'll require me to get 13 points a day on average which is not that challenging as long as I continue to dominate green for the rest of the month. 

That said I am REALLY struggling to find places to post today. The activity is at an all time low this month today. I was hoping to pass muffin for second in Yellow but it doesn't look like that will be possible at this rate.

Furret : I figured if I can grab a 7-pointer today, and other days when the opportunities present themselves, it will give me some more leeway later on, and still give me the ability to hit 500 even if some unexpected obstacles appear. Looks like I have the 7-pointer locked up for today, because if you or Sonic were to pass 2400 words you'd be DQ'd for having more than half of your words come in the last hour (if that's still a rule, I'm not sure if it is.)

Good luck on reaching 400! 13 points per day is definitely doable, as long as you continue to participate every day!

I guess that's still a rule that exists but I don't think it'll be enforced as strictly as it was in the past. I'm sure you saw this yourself when you were staff but people were really trigger happy to DQ someone. The moment that they exceeded 50% by even 5 words they could've gotten DQ'd for it. I think someone once got DQ'd in blue for having like 6/20 posts in crazy house. To me looking back that seems to be way too harsh of a punishment for such a small difference. 

I'd say if someone posts like, 70% or higher of their words the last hour, with a minimum of 1000 total words, maybe look at a DQ. The whole idea for 2019 was to be more lenient and allow for more fun. We'd be hypocrites if we started DQ'ing everyone for minor mistakes.

I'm still not risking trying to stop you for Yellow as that's just my take on it. Others may disagree.

tgags123 : It is a rule, It literally says it on the first post of this thread. So yeah. Ironically that rule caused me a bit of moral dilemma as I noticed someone broke it but didn't want to ruin the competition for them, even though I would have benefited from it. 

Like I've said before I'm doing this for fun, I#m pretty sure that when I get close to geeo's points tally (which may happen today) He'll just score more points. It'd be nice to be grey however

Sonicmcmuffin : Talking about me? Yesterday I shot past you near the end of the day so might've been me without realizing it. Must not have been much higher than 50% though, I was trying not to go over that. I'd be pretty upset if that cost me a DQ.

Furret : Yeah I agree. Blatant cheating or taking advantage of the system should result in a DQ, but not honest mistakes or minor things. I do remember how by-the-book everything was, and I just remember accepting it as normal. Looking back, I think it's pretty dumb how strict the rules were.

Sonicmcmuffin : ....Was that someone me? I don't think I did it but it's possible, and now that you mentioned it I'm questioning myself lol.

Furret : Yes, it was yesterday and it was you and it was 57% but I didn't want to make it a big deal on the 20th day of the Tour de Vizzed, I just asked someone to make you aware of it.  It's not my place to enforce any of the Tour De Vizzed rules after all. 

Mistakes happen anyways. It's just lucky that this Tour de Vizzed is not that close and it didn't really affect anything.. (GIVE ME MY POINT BACK JK)

edit: tgags ninja'd me but to add on i don't think the rules being strict is a hindrance.. it makes things easier with a definitive line of fair and unfair

I know I've said this before, but what a colorful sight the TdV can be. Lots of different color combinations to wear, be it because of your username color, the jerseys you win or the banners you're leading. Some are beautiful, some... Just ask Furret lol

We've entered the last third of the competition, but we only have two ongoing battles as of now, overall Green and the Grey banner. While Red is not decided yet, given Furret's rise it's pretty much likely he'll hold on to it. The rest is already clinched by tgags, who will come out of this at least with pseudo-green (Yellow + Blue) on top of his skittles name.

Yeah I won't lie this color combo looks like when a cow takes a dump in a field. Overall I've been surprised with how well the poopy brown has looked with jerseys but this is the first time I've been really disappointed.

Maybe it's because I only got one jersey yesterday. After I started competing on the 7th, I've only had two days (13th and now the 20th) where I didn't get 2 or more jerseys, though today will likely add to that number seeing how high Yuna's scores are this early in the day.The fact that I've won so many Red jerseys probably helps a lot because Red and Brown go well together, especially when combined with either Yellow or Green.

I'm hoping to claim the lead in Green in a couple days.

Today looks like a site rest day right now, but then again it's still early days for most of the users here. For me I've been awake for pretty much 24 hours straight and need some much needed rest. 

It's been fun posting these last few days honestly. And hopefully when the Tour De Vizzed ends, I can put my thinking cap on and think of more ideas for threads that can interest others and perhaps give them something to do as well, e.g a forum game or something along those lines.

Anyways, I think with both tgags and Furret both competing extremely well, and no one can be able to catch up those two, the TdV activity sure has died down quite a bit.

Well I got back up to Binghamton and moved back into my apartment today. The first thing I did when I got here was play poker (obviously) so now that I've blown $50 I can finally start competing today lol.

I need to average 16 points per day for the last 11 days to break 500. I don't think I'm going to be able to get to 16 today, Yuna and Sonicmcmuffin are making it difficult Hopefully I'll be able to make up for the poor performance today with a better one in one of the coming days.

gamerforlifeforever : Maybe, Maybe not. The stars have not predicted the future of the Tour De Vizzed for me yet, there are still many dormant adversaries that can take victory away from me and my aim to become the colour of apathy. 

It's crazy how users 5 - 10 are all within 15 points of each other. Someone could easily participate the last 3 days and make it on the graph, as muffin has shown the past couple days.

Looks like the old man competition will be the most exciting thing left this last part of the TdV. Muffin will take the lead in that after today but geeo has stated that he wants to win it so he could show up out of nowhere and dominate a couple days.

Sonicmcmuffin : Haha nah, poker is mostly profitable, just didn't have a great day. I'll take it back from them later this week And I'm not addicted to gambling, just poker, because it's fun. Slots and stuff do nothing for me.

Haha don't worry about it, we need more people to compete to make it interesting! I'd much rather have fun and not quite make it to 500, than to break 500 but not enjoy myself.
