EX Palen : Yeah, before the 7-pointers rule were introduced in Winter 2015, we had only two users that has scored at least 300 points for the month, and that was Singelli (Autumn 2012) and David (Autumn 2014)

After Winter 2015, it wasn't rare to see 1st place or even 2nd place getting at least 300 points, and in fact, the first TdV that introduced the 7-pointer rule (Winter 2015), both me and Zander went above 300 points for the entire month.

Hopefully I can get a decent lead on zanderlex today so he doesn't come and take second back. tgags looks to be too far ahead to catch up to in total points. I'm like a couple points behind him for the overall red jersey at the moment and I believe I'll take green if I win it every single day from now on. So those two will be my primary objective for the second half of the month. 

gamerforlifeforever : I mean you also competed for 1 day total so it's impressive you stayed on it for a few days after. You could honestly take 5th if you compete hard for a few days. If Lexatom doesn't start competing again you could take 4th. I went from not being in top 10 to second place in I think 6 days so it's possible.

Furret : Meh, I don't feel like competing that hard.

gamerforlifeforever : I already regretted my decision day 3 of competing but this will probably be the best chance I'll get to get an overall jersey win. Green's perfect for that as I can do other things while doing actions so it's not as tiring for me.

You should at least try and make top 10 though

Furret : I thought so too lol. Usually it takes 2+ hours to get home from Brooklyn. Only took a little over an hour today. Didn't have any traffic at all, made good time.

tgags123 vs Furret Round 3!

That 7 pointer in green was so good for my TdV run. I'm now 13 points behind tgags so it's actually possible to get the overall green without another 7 pointer now. That takes so much pressure off of me as I just need to make sure I get more actions than him every day.

If I hadn't gotten it yesterday there would be 15 points between us, which would've still been possible to do but one slip and that would've been it for me. 

I think tgags' predictions look fairly solid. I don't know if I'll stay in second for Yellow as zander is probably going to start posting a lot more from now on but I'll try. I've given up catching up to them in Blue so just getting a couple points in that one a day in combination with the two jerseys I'm actively fighting for should secure me 2nd overall. 

This is getting harder and harder as the days go on. With no one else posting other than me and Furret, there are no threads left for me to post in. I can always make more of course, but I don't want to spam up the forums with pointless threads just to get posts and words for the TdV. I wish we still had a good number of people participating like we did in the beginning of the month.

Yeah looks like it's starting to quiet down. Which is understandable and happens almost every TdV around the halfway mark. The last couple TdV's were quiet like this for almost the entire thing so it's already been a huge improvement.

Yeah, it's quite unfortunate, but expected nevertheless. I actually have a shot at getting a point in yellow despite barely posting anything. That would be sad.

gamerforlifeforever : I thought this was going to be the first day all TdV where I didn't make at least 25 posts and get my name italicized. Fortunately, as more people have started posting, I am able to post in the same 10 or so threads I have been posting in over and over again for the past 16 days to get my post count up.

Also, I think the saddest thing so far was when 3rd, 4th, and 5th for blue had 7, 6, and 6 posts.

I've been posting in the same stuff as well. I mean we've both exhausted our options at this point. I think activity has been going up for sure but the battlefield we're fighting on is outdated and almost empty after 2018.

I've made somewhere between 1000 and 1500 posts so far this TdV, and at least 80% of them were either in an elimination thread, hangman, ask anything, what was the last ____ you did, or somewhere in Crazy House. (That's a hyperbole not a real stat, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was actual accurate.)

I managed to steal the yellow jersey from Eniitan with 3 minutes left, so I'm pretty happy about that. The two point difference in yellow made up a little for Furret's 7-pointer in green. As long as I stay close to him each day, even if he gets more points than me every day, I should be able to hold on to the Rainbow banner.

Yeah unless tgags vanishes for no reason I can't catch him. Even today I gained like what, 3 points on him? If only I'd been competing from the start haha.

I still will continue to challenge him every day despite knowing it will result in my defeat. There's no fun in a one sided victory. I'm very proud that I'm able to put up a fight day in and day out and have it be so evenly matched. Also I can't win the war but I'll try and win the battles for red and green. At the very least one of them will be mine.

Also yeah threads have dried out. We should both probably tame down a bit because in some of them there's a reasonable amount of sandwiching. Which is something we actually seemed to be doing for most of the day until I got greedy and took the lead while he was away for a bit. Which then of course turned into a posting mission the last 2 hours.

tgags123 : I understand why they always close the elimination/ABC/Hangman threads for the TDV but hey, activity is activity and the amount of actual threads is...low. I’ve powered less than you, but still what, 600 or so, and I have most of mine in the same kinds of threads. But I have tried to avoid them so I could keep word count up (unlike Furret)

Furret : You need to get 7 pointers every day and you can win easy. Just spam post a lot and make 6 reviews a day, and you’ll have no problem.

Eniitan : Congrats on the red! I know you don’t participle in the TdV, but you made a great guide and deserve the credit!
