First of all, I'm that close to buying the PlayStation key item (please don't transfer your Viz to me to be more fair.)! And I'd like to ask what emulator(s) is there for my favorite platform. I bet the Mednafen Beetle PSX core is there, because, I hate to say this, but I'm usually a rewind cheater. If yes, then does the core have a rewind function?

Yep, Mednafen is the only one we have available. Works kind of good on a decent computer, but don't be surprised if some games don't work at 100%.

I'm not sure if it has a rewind function, but it probably does. I remember some upgrades being done to that emulator in particular, because it works on several systems, which included adding cheats like Gameshark. I think it was F1 which, when clicked in-game, showed all the options we can tamper with, so you should test it on other Mednafen-supported systems. Meanwhile, I'll try searching for that thread, it should be somewhere in the News and Updates forum.

EDIT: All I've found so far is that the key to options is F12. I'll test it myself in a few hours if this thread still has no solid reply.

I know for a fact that Mednafen in the RGR plugin does have a rewind feature because I used it on a Genesis game a while back, though I can't say for sure that it works when emulating PSX as my computer just isn't powerful enough to run them at any tolerable speed.

Well, the compatibility list is very small for the games not working as of yet, so no wonder that some of the games wouldn't work 100%, then again, the core is still in development.

As for the rewind function, yes, the core does have it, but it may cause crashing, so I won't be using the function that often as for the other platforms. Also, I hope my 4GB RAM laptop could handle the emulator.
