cnw64's Last 10 Game Comments (view last 100) | Resident Evil 3: Nemesis | The only thing I liked about this game was the fact that Nemesis chased you throughout the game. It made certain part's challenging, without Nemesis this game will be a piece of cake. | Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, The | Can't wait to play this game. :) | Splatoon | Your a kid your a squid, your a kid your a squid. :) I love this game ! | Speed Punks | I use to love playing this game, too bad it's not a playable game at the moment. | Street Fighter Alpha 2 | I have no idea how to use the moves since I'm a newbie when it comes to street fighter. | Patriotic Pinball | I couldn't play this game sadly because I keep getting " lost connection " when I start the game. Even though I can't play Patriotic Pinball this does look fun to play since it's pinball, a game anyone could play. | Pinobee | This game is just horrible, the story is generic, the music is not creative at all, Pinobee's giant head animation is unnecessary and the graphic's are hideous. At least the game works perfectly. | Air Hockey | This game is simple and fun to play. But more fun to play in person with a friend or family :) | ATV Mania | Game doesn't start, it always says " Emulator Closed " | Robo Pit 2 | I only played this game once a long time ago, I thought it was okay. |

Soul Calibur (World, SOC14+VER.C) 10-01-12 06:44 PM |
Good 3D fighter Soul Calibur is one of the best fighting games made for the Dreamcast. From the graphics and sound to the game play is awesome, though not is not perfect..Graphics:The graphics in this game are phenomenal. The character models are the best you'll see in a videogame ( when this first came out ). There are a couple of nice arenas like the Venice stage and the Underground Cavern but for the most part each area is just a floating platform with a very lightly animated background.Gameplay: It is easy for the beginner to jump in and start playing. Contrary to what some people have said, button mashing against a more skilled opponent won't get you very far. Almost every move in the game can be blocked, and those moves that can't, called Unblockable Attacks, take so long to perform that it's possible to get out of the way before the attack ( side stepping ). There are literally hundreds of different moves for each character, and unlike many fighting games, you don't have to enter a huge string of random commands to perform a combo ( accept Tekken ). Most combos are actually strings, or several different moves performed one right after another. This style does two things: first, it makes combos easier to perform and much more customizable; and second, it makes the moves more satisfying because you feel like you're actually controlling what's happening on-screen. Music :The music is one of the best I've heard in a fighting game. It sounds very orchestral and has an incredibly epic feel to it. The sound effects, on the other hand, can be off at times. Screams, grunts, and growls all sound great, as well as ... Read the rest of this Review |
Tekken 6 07-28-12 11:25 AM |
Tekken 6 , an good fighter . + Huge roster of over 40 well balanced characters with huge and unique move-sets + Solid online play (as of the latest patch) + Beautiful computer generated FMV's for character endings and in the scenario campaign + Easy to pick up and play for beginners but incredibly deep and difficult to master + Packed with loads of modes and extras including Scenario mode - Scenario mode can be ridiculously frustrating and uninteresting at times - The story may be hard to follow for those who haven't been keeping up with the series - Some long load times Tekken 6's easy to pick up/tough to master gameplay leaves it as a great addition to the collection of any fan of fighting games while remaining welcoming to newcomers. The gameplay, while similar to previous installments has been tweaked for balance and fluidity and seen the inclusion of a couple of new features namely the Bound and Rage systems. Bound lets your smash a downed opponent into the air to continue an aerial juggle while Rage gives a large increase in damage once your health falls below a certain point. For new and intermediate players this is a great addition that gives hope even the most dire of situations but in the hands of an experienced player, Rage can easily lead to an insta-death combo. With over 40 varied characters, you'll always feel like there's no way you'll have trouble finding a character you like and you'll always feel like there are new characters to master. Each character is extensively customizable through the in-game item shop where you can use the "Fight Money" you've earned from winning matches or through the scenario mode. With the amount of customization, it's no surprise that there was no need for character creation, though some items can be pricey and tak... Read the rest of this Review |
Cardcaptor Sakura: Tomoyo no Video Daisakusen 06-29-12 01:03 PM |
Nice Card Captor Sakura game , but its just too short . Cardcaptor Sakura: Tomoyo no Video is a game from japan so in English it is called Card Captor Sakura: Tomoyo's Video Battle. This game is similar to Pokemon Snap. In it you play as Tomoyo her best friend and you have to take pictures of Sakura with your camera . The first couple of stages take you through what I think are episodes 1,3, and then 8 ( I have no idea why its like that ) . In the first episode you must first capture three pictures of Sakura as she goes to capture her first clow card called " The Fly ". Then as the fly card is in your view, you have to take pictures of both Sakura and the fly card as she try's to capture it. After this you will see a rendered cut scene right from the anime as Sakura captures the Fly card. You also must do this with the next episode . The second level of the game takes place in the aquarium as Sakura tries to capture the clow card called " The Watery ". In this one Sakura is flying through the stage and you must take pictures of her on her wand as she flies and you must also take pictures of her with the water card chasing her from behind ( an awesome scene ). When you are done you are once again seeing a scene with a game version of the anime as Sakura captures the Watery card. The last episode before the Sp. level is the episode where she has to capture the clow card called " The Thunder ". It is the same thing over and over so you get the idea on what to do and what you get after you complete the episode. The game has nice/ beautiful graphics that make you feel like you are in the anime. Each level you play is just like watching an episode too ( but a shorter version of it ) . The game seems to have an standard / average control and gameplay so its not hard to figure out wh... Read the rest of this Review |
