Hot Wheels Turbo Racing

HotWheels Turbo Racing Review

Hot-wheels Turbo Racing (HTR) is a game using the classic metal cast vehicles created by the Hot-wheels company, varying from the well known "Twin-mill" and "Twin-mill II" all the way to the powerful Jet Engine powered "Thunder-Roller" This game possesses many astounding race types as well, Time Trials and championships are available to best yourself against the track and A.I controlled competition with a difficulty ramp that becomes slightly annoying on the final championship.

The cars have their own stats that give each vehicle a different feel when driving and allow the player to try different race-styles depending on the track. This game has another variant available on the PlayStation which has far better graphics, longer music clips and also has a voice which says the name of the vehicle, the N64 variant is a bare-minimum of what it progressed into for the PSX.

Expedition race or standard race: allows you to race in a single map with a car of your choice against opponents that you can change the difficulty of in the options.

Time Trial: think you have what it takes to beat your previous times? Choose your car and give it a whirl in this race against the clock! No competition aside from the time and your own abilities as a driver.

Championship [Cup series]: there are three championships, each with a different difficulty and a longer list of tracks. With each championship you complete, you unlock more tracks. Upon completion of the third, you unlock the Twin-Mill cup.

Twin-mill Cup: you are put up against three other Twin-mills in a 4 car race on some of the most difficult tracks in the game, these competitors are FAR more difficult than the ones in the previous races.

Rating:

Graphics: 7/10. The graphics occasionally have their glitches such as vehicles fading through the map or flashing objects from too many items on-scree... Read the rest of this Review
Harvest Moon - Friends of Mineral Town

Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town hints and tips and Review

The game is the perfect example of how to make a living on the farm. However it also gives a feeling of how difficult it is to start up a farm in the first place. As you progress through the game you'll meet people who are very in depth as appose to most games of it's kind. Each action causes a reaction in the people around you.

Now, I know quite a few people are lost on how to begin this game of Harvest Moon. [many also haven't played the original. I HIGHLY suggest you do before playing this or you may be lost.] Here are a few tricks to make the game easier.

First off here are the controls.

A = whistle (used to get people or animals attention.)

S = run

Z = Interact ( OR pick up/toss items)

X = use equipment (OR put things in rucksack)

Hold A and press X = change TOOLS (this is also how to eat items)

Hold A and press Z = change ITEMS

Space Bar = SPEED UP TIME

Enter = brings up a menu with your farm map, world map, earnings and so-forth

F2 = SAVE GAME \
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Be aware that you can only save ONE GAME AT A TIME.
F4 = LOAD GAME/

Hints and Tips:

1: Stuck on how to make an income each day? There is a Bee's Nest in your farm that produces a jar of honey you can sell for money ONCE EVERY DAY!

2: Still not making enough?! Go to the spa [one screen down and take the path going diagonally up the mountainside.] Go passed the Spa and there is a cave. Enter the cave and use your hammer to mine Copper, Junk Ore and Silver! You can sell off OR use these Ore pieces to upgrade your equipment!

3: If your going to make a fence, USE THE ROCKS! Fences  break down over time but rocks don't! You can even keep your chickens and horses in these rock fenced-off areas and not worry about them running around the farm :)

4: Trying to hit on one specific gi... Read the rest of this Review
Hydro Thunder

HYDRO THUNDER
Great game designed for use in even the living room and not just the arcade! HYDRO THUNDER! A high speed racing game with a serious twist! BOOST POWERED BOATS!

10 for graphics, especially for the classic system used.

Sound however lacks due to how loud the boat engines are and causes the game to crackle at times even in the arcade version, music is almost unheard throughout the game [although there are hints of it at time. 9 out of 10

9 for addictiveness with the ability  to unlock boats on the way through high speed circuit made water-ways

7 for story though, This game specifically is not really designed with a story in mind.

Depth is powerful and this game gets 10/10 for complete capability to interact with the race track and obstacles!

Difficulty ramp excels greatly at a very fast rate, making this game extremely tough for beginners who look to boats for a racing habit.
Dynasty Warriors Advance (Europe)

Dynasty Warriors review
One of the finest games I have ever played on the GBA system. One false move will turn the battle around and if your not thorough enough, the enemy could get the upper hand. Focus is the key in this massive world of battles. With no room for error this game makes sure you keep your eyes open and in search of the fastest way to victory. Each map containing many separate paths to take. Each path leading to a different outcome! Will you be the next to fall under the thunderous wars of the Three Kingdoms? Or will you reap the rewards of the victor in battle? You decide your fate in this world of torment. Go forth and forge your destiny in the blood of your enemies!

Graphics: Outstanding for a GBA game.

Sound: Wonderful, although at times it becomes annoying (like the battle against Lu Bu.)

Addictiveness: Beyond words

Story: Very well thought out and little to no grammar errors.

Depth: keeps well within the boundaries of the historic battles and generals.

Difficulty: Ramps up nicely for each level, making you really think at times on what you should do.

Welcome to Minecraft!
Welcome to minecraft! A cube world to create your own masterpiece ranging from pixel art to the immersive full scale cities and game of your childhood! Here I will be showing you some little tidbits of help, information that may prove useful such as basic tool functions, redstone support and some suggestions on mods or mod loaders!

Alright so, Your first day in the world of Minecraft hm? Well the first thing you'll want to do in any game involving survival is get some protection. A simple dirt house will suffice you for the first couple nights. Explore the map, find a suitable location to build and settle down because this game is limited only by your patience and imaginative ability.

When you enter the game you are spawned in a random biome, or region in which the weather and ground coincide one another. (For instance a swamp biome will never see snow and will rain far more often than say, a plain biome.)

Some of the biomes most commonly found:

Forest: A dense region of trees which can be in snowy, rainy or dry regions, these regions can be rather abundant and visible by the darker grass compared to plains biome grass. They also will be where you find a much wider variation in tree type. So keep an eye out for these regions when possible if you're looking for a particular wood. :)

Jungle: DENSE tree zones, with lush green grass which tends to be completely covered by leaves from other trees. The trees also tend to have 2x2 size trunks and covered in vines which can be climbed to reach the canopy. The trees grow to become massive, sometimes having well into the hundreds when it comes to wood. It rains often but due to the tree canopy, the rain hardly ever reaches beyond it... This also means mob will have a less likely chance of being killed by the light when  protected by this canopy.

Plains: A wide open region with little blemishes (such as hills and caverns) to be found. This tends to be the best biome fo... Read the rest of this Guide
Road Rash 3

Beginner's guide to Road Rash
So you think you have what it takes to become a rasher? Well then prepare to be headlong with traffic in this crash-course designed to help the newer generation learn the way of the no-holds-barred racing style that is Road Rash 3.  There will also be you-tube videos of my game play through these tracks (up until level 3 anyways where I ended up stopping due to work getting too busy

Level 1: Gameplay Footage

Okay so you got your first bike, a thousand bucks and a need to bash the nearest junkie's head into the pavement huh? Well you're going to want some information on some of these rashers before you go headlong, as some of them hold little tricks others won't. Especially later on in the game. There are two tracks you are greeted with in level 1 that will wreck your chances of winning every time if you're not prepared for them. The U.K, and Germany. BEWARE THE TURN!

Germany: Ah the snowy alps of the German countryside. Rocking music, skiers who have no clue what to do, bumps, ice patches and logs strewn about the corkscrew roadways!  But be warned, a nasty surprise awaits you at about 4 miles in. Going over 90 will send you careening off the track, and more than likely, off your bike!

The U.K: Alright kiddies here's a little tip, in the U.K the roads are opposite! That's right, you heard me. Inbound traffic is on the RIGHT of the road, and will obliterate you every chance they get. Be on the watch for police copters as this track is notorious for these individuals to show up first!

The biggest pain in the neck you need to worry about in level 1's track selection, is:

Lucky Luc. This rasher is found in 3rd place, on all tracks and tends to have quite a distance between the others. You'll find yourself kissing this guy's tailpipe most of the game. His weapon of choice is the Oil can, a devilish little device that slicks your tires and causes you to lose turning ability briefly and gives him a chanc... Read the rest of this Guide
