SD Gundam - Winner\'s History (english translation) 11-02-12 10:36 PM

Hope yer good at strategy gamz..
Hello everyone at Vizzed RGR! Here is my review of the game SD Gundam Winners' History (Eng). Also this is my first review (The Eng part means its' translated due to this game being exclusive only to Japanese Game Gear owners but, anyway!) Well, to be honest, Bandai went out and made another successful Gundam game, as this and Endless Duel, IMO are the best Gundam games ever made. Let's begin. So what this game is a strategy game. A really good one at that. Let's get into the graphics. The graphics in this game were good for its' time but by today's standards some will probably be quick to mock them. The sound effects/music is not bad at all. Keep in mind that this is an 8-bit handheld system so it may not have the best darn music in a video game, but it was a good attempt. I don't really know about the story much, but judging by the title, I guess it is probably based on SD Gundam, but Gundam always has good stories, right? There are numerous gameplay modes to choose from like Single Map, Campaign and many others. While this is a fun game, it's also not an easy one. The game can be a bit hard if you don't know what you are doing. So in a way, it's kind of like an Advance Wars-esque game except when you fight you actually get to control the mech you play as. AND NOW, the most important part of the game....... THE GAMEPLAY!!! When you play the game, you start out on this map where you can move your Gundam mech or ship a few spaces to engage the enemy. When you go into battle as a Gundam, you can use the d-pad to move up, down, left and right to avoid them nasty enemy FIYAH, and use the 1 button as this sword attack and the 2 button to shoot. The controls and gameplay are accurate and responsive that you won't rage over some glitch! ___________________________________________________________________________  ...
