The game started it all I gave super Mario bros a 9.5 rating for the following reasons: Graphics: This game has great graphics for the time. I would have given it a high rating if the pixels weren't as view able. I know you can't really see them in the background but when you look at the goombas, koopas, etc. They look kinda square. I know if you say look at a koopa's shell it looks round but when you look at closer its kinda square. But hey that's just my opinion. Now lets look at the good things about the Graphics: I like how the background doesn't show pixels I think that really good for something of basic plain blue (not counting clouds). I love snow levels I just think it looks cool with the way pipes are white. I also like how every level ends with Mario going to a castle. Sound: Almost all of the Mario games have some tie to these songs and the reason why is because there GREAT! There great because the music is happy out in the over-world, the music is (kinda) mysterious when underground. And when underwater it feels like your swimming! I mean when I go swimming I sing this song cause it feels so much like swimming! (Also its a great song) The castle music feels like your in a place evil and full of lava. And of course that it is a place full of lava! Although I gave this a ten I would like to say is that I wish there where more songs. The four songs I have listed are the only songs in the game expect when you find the princess. That's a nice way to move into my next rating: Story: The plot can be summed up in this line: damsel in distress. All it is Bowser kidnaps the princess and Mario sets out through the land to find him. I gave this an eight because this is the story that started it all. Not just in Mario but in a lot of games. I mean in Zelda Gannon kidnaps Zelda, and in sonic 06 Eggman kidnaps Elise, many other are out there but those are the only that are coming to my mind. BEST GAME EVER Ok where to start... I will just go down the check list. Graphics: The graphics in this game are all new expect in Mario world but I will get to that in a second. Mario 1/lost levels: They 100% redid the graphics! Mario is now clear deep red and Luigi is no longer a plate swap of Mario and he's nice green! Mario 2/Mario usa in Japan They reworked the graphics but somehow to me they look kinda the same. Sure Mario friends have been recolored but at the same time it still looks kinda the same. I like that but I know not everyone would agree. Mario 3: Mario 3 has been recolored like all of them. Mario's graphics has not really been changed other than the recoloration (Is that a word??) Luigi sprite has been change to make him no longer a plate swap of Mario and now deep green!! Mario world: Mario world has the smallest amount of changes. The big change to Mario world is the fact that Luigi is now Luigi not a plate swap of Mario. Sound: All of the games except Mario world have new versions of their songs. All the songs have been revamped with 16bit instruments. The original mario bros theme now has steel drums in it, Mario bros 2 over-world song now is no longer one instruments I want to say it has piano in it but I just can't put my finger on it for sure. Mario bros 2 over-world also now has some background instruments like chimes. The super mario bros 3 over-world them now has steel drum like instruments. They have changed to make it sound like a lazy day song that just fits in really well. Addictiveness: This games has TONS of replay value because it has so many Mario games!! The replay value of the other games are in this game. Story: Each Mario game has a story. Although only one has a different story... Mario 2 is the only one that has a different story. Mario is missing is more like the fun is missing Mario is missing a educational Mario Luigi game while the plot is better than most Mario games it is still kinda the same. Mario is missing so Luigi must rescue him. Sound familiar huh?? aka: The princess is missing so Mario must rescue here. So its the same plot but its Mario instead... anyway moving on. The music is almost all from Super Mario world but its sounds very midi. In Super Mario world there are Soundfonts to make it sound like say steel drums but nope none of that here just plain midi instruments. I rated Depth 3 because there might be a lot of stuff to do but its all the same get an Item take to booth have the princess ask you stupid questions. The game graphics are super Mario world graphics with a few new graphics say the people but that's about it. I rated Addictiveness 1 because I would never play this again. But dear reader I leave the Addictiveness to you. If you think this game sounds super duper uper fun then play I challenge you. Beat the game like I should have before writing this review. I barely beat the level. But the game is basically the same thing over and over again so I don't think I need to beat the game to tell you: THIS GAME STINKS |

WORST GAME EVER This game SUCKS. I found this from space hamsters video of Mario bootlegs so I had to see if it was on vizzed (and it was) I know it was bad when I came into but by 2 seconds in I knew I would rage quit very soon (which I did) do not play YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Graphics: I like the graphics but only because there from Mario world the are really just ripped from Mario world. Sound: It has the best soundtrack ever 10/10 NOT! Its just Mario world song made in really annoying beeps or what ever. Addictiveness and controls: I combined this two because the controls are a big factor in the addictiveness: the controls are bad like really really bad like I want to fall down and hole and die bad. The controls are so bad that's why I rage quit. No one would or should want to play this again. Difficulty: see above Depth: the only real reason it would take you long is because of the controls (the addictiveness and controls) I warn you reader do no play this unless you want to see how bad this is. |

Its great! This game is great!!! Its the first 3d multiplayer Mario 3d platformer! That by itself makes it a great game but this game also has some really great graphics. Its really good to see a super Mario bros game in HD (not counting new Super Mario Bros U) The story is ok... its really the same story as always except now some fairies sorry Sprixies has been kidnapped instead of Peach. The soundtrack is great that is really all I can say about that... The game is pretty short because of how easy it is (Or I am just a really good gamer.) I think I would replay this game not just because its short and I like replaying games but because the most important part its FUN! |
