The hack is more popular than the actual game!
...but wait. This game, itself, is a hack. A "pirated original," to be exact. That makes FF7 NES a hack of a hack.
God help us all.

Super Mario Bros. 1.5
Super Mario Bros. 1.5?
Today I'll be reviewing Super Mario Bros. Extended - Version A. I, personally, like to call it Super Mario Bros. 1.5. This is also my first review on Vizzed, so... be nice!
First off, I'll talk about what happened to me right off the bat.
The game starts. The title is pretty nice, even though it's plain text. All of the sprites are reworked (they look like they came out of Super Mario Bros. 3, but they're still fresh), but other than that it's pretty much plain old Super Mario Bros. so far. You can choose to play as Mario or Luigi, which is a great substitution for the boring alternating two-player mode. Mario is Mario, and Luigi has his Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan) physics. So he's slippery and can jump slightly higher. I chose Luigi, because I always chose him in Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan).
When the first level starts, you'll notice that the music is... well, different right off the bat. It's basically the same song, but it has weird pitches. I don't necessarily like it, but I guess it'll grow on me. I play the game like normal, and when I got to the invisible 1-UP block, it's a poison mushroom. I didn't expect that, but whatever. The rest of the level is pretty much normal, with a few swapped blocks. I overshoot the flagpole, because I'm Luigi. I enter World 1-2, and notice that the music is still changed. Oh well. I grab a Fire Flower, and continue the level as normal. The warp zone is unchanged, so I went to World 1-3. From what I can tell, it's the same, but with Bullet Bills being fired out of nowhere, but whatever. It's still pretty easy, though I did die once. After that, I go through World 1-4 with no problems. This is as far as I'll go with my personal experience, because I'm starting to ramble on.
Review!
Graphics: 9
Okay, maybe I'm a sucker for NES graphics, but this is a big step up from Super Mario Bros. A lot of the graphics look... Read the rest of this Review
