Geometry Dash The Dashiest of Dashes
Geometry Dash is one of those games you just happened to find. You could see it one day and probably buy it. What makes this game good is that if you like rhythm based games. This is your go to game! Keep in mind another update is in the making so this review may be out of date in the future.

Graphics:  The graphics are okay. Now when the game started out it was kind of bland and such but now its so beautiful. The old levels aren't that pretty and you can still play them but the effects they have is awesome. Even in the old and new levels blocks disappear, move. Fall down and rise up. There are also different forms as when your a cube you jump over the notorious spikes of doom but then monsters pits and so on. There are ships, spiders, and many more we will cover along soon. The graphics get better and better each update. Of course cause its the modern age retro graphics and its 2-D style doesn't compete with graphics on today's games for computers.. But I like its style so it gets an 8 out of 10.

Sound:  It would be a weird thing to complain about the songs. The songs match with the level! You see there is no sound effect at all other then the title screen and selecting levels or unlocking something or you when you die but the music matches it perfectly! It adds a jump effect and goes on beat with whatever is happening. Robtop Games did a outstanding job nailing it. That's why its a rhythm based platformer. The songs can be jolly, spooky, intimidating, or epic. They are so catchy you will not forget the songs so aisle. So without effects but music that matches jumping and ends when you beat a level, how can you not be glad. There are even funky tunes or my favorite Polorgeist which is the 3rd level has a awesome tune. You will never doubt music again in this game as it is pretty much what makes it good!

Addictiveness:  You can definitely play this game again as it is the same but has collectibles. Coins as collectibles thos... Read the rest of this Review
Ratchet & Clank

Ratchet and Clank a Galatic Mission!
Ratchet and Clank is a very great game. I played this years ago and I know you should play it. It is one of my most favorite games based on the future or space. It has futuristic environments and many other elements that help make this a good game. Now the game has vibrant and compelling characters as I will go over this.

Graphics:
Now this is not all that bad. The graphics are pretty good but there are a couple times it is a bit choppy but nails it almost all the time. It actually feels like the characters are talking and there were no graphical glitches. The enemies are rich and vibrant and even dress appropriately around the environment and you must appreciate the work in them, even the little symbols or stuff on their backs. All characters are pretty well made and good and Insomniac did a great job and nailed the presentation. It looks so good and I could go on and on but I do not have time to talk about every piece of scenery however my favorite is something I can't really mention cause of spoilers but you will see epic stuff and the weapons are a amazing specimen.

Sound:
Now the music is amazing and did you know these were the same developers of Spyro made this game? Well they do a lot of funky, atmospheric, and relaxing tunes. This game matches whatever environment you happen to be in. It also caused some tunes I personally liked etched in my brain. The weapons sound like they are doing their thing like shooting sound effects to lighting effects and it makes a very great piece of work. The tunes just nail it like if its a desolate wasteland with no hope or a cool and lively city or even a relaxing time at the beach. All enemies sound like what they should be working and there could be hammer noises or guns shooting. The sound is amazing.

Addictiveness:
I would totally replay this game again. It has a lot of content but not too much. There are some reasons I would and that's just because of nostalgia. I feel nostalgia for... Read the rest of this Review
Yume Koujou - Doki Doki Panic

Doki Doki Panic the real SMB2 for the US
Doki Doki Panic is the "Super Mario Bros 2" of Japan. Well it really isn't because Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels was only released in Japan and it was a harder version of the original with new mechanics but was considered too hard. Instead we got Doki Doki Panic or Super Mario Bros 2 in the US. Japan also got Doki Doki Panic but that had nothing to do with Mario in Japan. Mamu troubles dreams with the dream machine that gives good dreams and made it into a nightmare machine and its up to Imajin, Papa, Lina, and Mama. They are trying to save children in the land of having bad dreams. The game is almost identical to Super Mario Bros 2 in the U.S as most the mechanics are the same as bosses have the same weaknesses, enemies are the same, and even the layout was the same. All they did for us was to change the characters names and the story, its as simple as that. Now the game is pretty good just like the U.S version but we aren't talking about that. Many of Mario's iconic enemies are from this game like Birdo, Shy Guy, Sniffit, and so much more characters we know and love came from this game. It is a bit of a shame though because calling it something else besides Super Mario Bros 2 would probably sell well with the crowd. But nevertheless it is more of the same.
Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment

Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, A dash and slash adventure!
This is Shovel Knight's prequel. It may seem just like an ordinary dlc where its just a different character nothing happened at all to the plot however that is wrong. This was a dlc on steam but now it is a standalone game. Shovel Knight has been completely revamped and changed. Now it even has a PS4 port and a darker story. It is on Specter Knight who has to recruit the Order of No Quarter to become alive again and was given this task by the enchantress. Now he has to recruit them while being an undead husk in armor. The game is changed like how Shovel Knight acts Scrooge McDuck, Specter Knight instead has a homing attack like Sonic the Hedgehog. The game is built around this so its not too easy. In this campaign, you're the bad guy and it explains a lot of events Shovel Knight went through. You will encounter new and familiar faces you've met before on Shovel Knights journey however everyone has a lot more character. The games bosses are good guys you recruited and turned into bad guys except for others but I'm not spoiling. Now you will have a hard time at first adjusting to the mechanics, trust me I did because I was used to Shovel Knight, not this guy. This is also a masterpiece in the modern world as and 8-bit game, almost like a Renaissance! It is the Renaissance of gaming as the 8-bit era is back again. There is not tutorial are anything other then telling you buttons, but not how to use them. If you liked digging, using a shovel like a pogo, and jumping about using magical weapons and such, get ready for dashing, slashing, grinding, and magical fun in a dark story but not too over the top that reveals other characters secret motives. You should as if you enjoyed the original campaign, you will love Specter of Torment. You will meet iconic characters in the best game ever made. The game is more difficult as it expects you to know the mechanics of Shovel Knight, as Specter Knight does mostly some of the old mechanics. Play the original first to get the hang o...
