Mr Nutz
01-24-16 06:04 PM
THIS GAME IS NUTZ IS KLUTZ
Mr. Nutz is platformer released for the SNES, MD/GEN, GB, GBA and GBC and there's even some obscure mobile versions
~~~~ Story ~~~~
You're Nutz a red squirrel who must stop Mr. Blizzard, a evil yeti with magical powers who plans to take over the world
by turning it into a mass of ice and snow.
3/10
~~~~ Depth ~~~~
In this game you have to go through 6 levels (8 if you count the sub-levels) with 3 journeys (stages) each
with many hidden places and secrets to be found that give you bonuses and there's even bonus levels in the gba version.
4/10
~~~~ Gameplay ~~~~
To complete each stage you have to find the exit sign.
This is done by jumping on your enemies or collecting acorns to shoot at them
You can also run which can really help a lot sometimes and you also have the ability attack with tail by crouching and pushing the attack button. When you get to a boss battle usually all you have to do jump on them or shoot acorns at them.
7/10
~~~~ Difficulty ~~~~
The game can be really frustrating at times specially when you're trying to jump on enemies and platforms, and the bosses are pretty challenging but are a lot easier when you figure out their patterns, and there's even difficulty settings if you to punish yourself even more.
thankfully there's infinite continues.
5/10
~~~~ Addictiveness ~~~~
There's not really a lot of replayability in this game aside from the secrets and difficulty settings I just mentioned earlier.
But you can also play through the whole game again, that's what I do.
5/10
~~~~ Graphics and Sound ~~~~
The game is pretty colorful and the sprites and visuals have a lot of detail.
The music fits the game perfectly and has some stand out tracks like the boss music.
10/10
~~~~ Overall ~~~~
Mr. Nutz is a game you should really check out, sure it has some flaws but its great fun at times.
Not really fond of its sequel though.
10/10
Putty Squad
12-29-14 08:18 AM
Its just more than Thinkin Putty!
Putty Squad is a game about a blob of putty trying to rescue other imprisoned putties. You attack using the L and R buttons, L to attack on the left and R to attack on the right, you can upgrade your attack collecting the stars you find in the levels, also you can stretch to reach unreachable items and platforms, and you can inflate but it drains your health, so use it wisely. And you can absorb stuff, such as items, putties, certain enemies, and other stuff. Your main enemies are cats, there's 3 types of cats, the first one just walks around and attacks you when they see you, the second type has a shotgun and cant be killed, the third drops bombs, kicks you, and has a skateboard, when you defeat him you can use his belly as a temporary trampoline before he wakes up, there's many other enemies and some of them are deadly and can kill you in one hit, the game gets harder as you progress trough the game. But if you didn't adapt to the controls or don't know what to do, I suggest reading the manual or looking for instructions on the Internet. The game is long so you don't have to worry it will end too soon. The graphics are great, very colorful and detailed, and the music is pretty good, the replayability depends on how the player enjoyed the game, so concluding I give this game a 7.4 out of 10. Super Bomberman 4 (english translation)
12-11-14 08:06 PM
A real Blast!
When i first got my SNES one of the games i most played was Bomberman, it quickly became one of my
most favorite game series of all time, so i decided to take another look at this game and my childhood,
so this your everyday bomberman game, walk around the stage, kill enemies , destroy blocks, collect powerups
and Done, the story is pretty much the same as some other bomberman games, some evil dude wants to take over the universe,
with his minions, now bomberman has to save the day! The End, probably the most cliche story i have ever seen, the music
is great, i can even still hear it on my head, good memories, and graphic are great too, and very colorful. also the game itself
s not so hard, the bosses are a bit tough but not hard, and its not every long as it has only 5 stages, but dont worry you can
also play on battle mod where its basically a deathmatch game that you can play with your friends or the computer, also the game
has a password system which is not very important but its there. so my final rating is 6.5
Wario's Woods
Wandering through Warios Woods
Wario's Woods is one of these games that are actually good but not well known.
You dont see much people talking about it, but trust me this game is worth a try.
So its one of these puzzle games with original concepts, not these crappy Tetris
or Bejeweled clones, the gameplay is simple, You control Toad and all you have to do
is pick up the critters (or whatever they are.) and stack them up, and wait for a bomb
to appear, so you can grab it and explode those guys, but dont take too long or else
Wario will come and screw up everything, also the fairy is replaced by a evil bird, and taking
really too long to beat the level you will smashed to death, the game gets harder and harder
each time you complete a level, also you can play the game with your friends or with the
Computer, also the music is catchy but you better get used to it, because your gonna hear it
the entire game! and the graphic are beautiful and colorful, also this game is long enough to
give a fun experience every single time, and even after you beat the entire game its still fun to try the
other modes or beating it again. so my final rating is 8.8 English »AfrikaansAlbanianArabicArmenianAzerbaijaniBasqueBengaliBelarusianBulgarianCatalanChinese (Simp)Chinese (Trad)CroatianCzechDanishDutchEnglishEsperantoEstonianFilipinoFinnishFrenchGalicianGeorgianGermanGreekGujaratiHaitian CreoleHebrewHindiHungarianIcelandicIndonesianIrishItalianJapaneseKannadaKoreanLaoLatinLatvianLithuanianMacedonianMalayMalteseNorwegianPersianPolishPortugueseRomanianRussianSerbianSlovakSlovenianSpanishSwahiliSwedishTamilTeluguThaiTurkishUkrainianUrduVietnameseWelshYiddish Options : History : Help : FeedbackText-to-speech function is limited to 100 charactersEnglish »AfrikaansAlbanianArabicArmenianAzerbaijaniBasqueBengaliBelarusianBulgarianCatalanChinese (Simp)Chinese (Trad)CroatianCzechDanishDutchEnglis...
