Pokemon Vherestorm Version BlackZero000: You got lucky. My starter was not Shiny. RolePlayGeordan: Venonat is in the grass in Littleroot Town. Lucar369: Mudkip is found at level 5 the same place as Venonat. See screenshot.
Pokemon Light Platinum So what are you complaining about exactly asura-98? What problem does this unstable evolution pose in the gameplay?
Pokemon DarkViolet (beta 2) Okay. So I can see this one isn't quite there yet in terms of development but it will be very interesting to play when it reaches that level. Thank you creator Chaos Rush for sharing this Beta Version.
Pokemon Emerald - Hard Edition (beta 1.03) Shiny Pokemon show up once in a blue moon. I've encountered a few in hundreds of hours of game-play from Gen II on. The most I ever encountered and caught was in Pokemon Dark Rising, but then my file got lost.
Pokemon Emerald 386 Time to bust out the old rod. Got to catch some fishes.
Pokemon Hyetology (beta 1.1) Dunsparce is the bomb. Not only is it your second starter, but it also makes catching Pokemon easier with Yawn and Glare.
Pokemon Ultimate End Also, catch more Pokemon. The more you have, the easier it is to build an unbeatable party.
Pokemon Ultimate End Use strongest water attack to kill Magmar.
Pokemon BlackGranite X Unlimited Watmel Berries in the sign to the right of the house on the right in the hometown. Unlimited Lemonade in your PC.
Pokemon Genesis A hack.

Pokemon Chaos Black

Ignite The Chaos With The Pokemon Black Before There Was A Real Black Version
Some differences between Pokémon Chaos Black and Pokémon Fire Red, you may notice right away.

Bulbasaur is now a Grass/Electric type Pokémon called Magid. His volt absorb ability will fully protect him from electricity damage while crediting him with one quarter the amount of his full HP.

Charmander is now a baby lion called Flaon. He has a mane so maybe he is not exactly a cub. He is cute though.

Caterpie is now an antennaed fat little green bug called Tase. He is part normal type. It will evolve into Podcoon. Podcoon is simply Bug type.

Pidgey is now a pokey appendaged red and yellow single horned reptile. Normal/Poison is its new type. It is now named Shizard and evolves into Shicoon. Shicoon is a Steel/Poison type.

Fearow seems to have changed in appearance and name only. It is now Minite and is shaped like a blue-eyed marshmallow with baby blue cotton candy attached.

Seel is now called Abel and looks like a cute little abominable snowman.

Cloyster is now called Graag and looks somewhat like a red/gold/brown Tyrannosaurus Rex. When you put it first in battle, it will not be visible. When switching to it in mid-battle, it will take the appearance of your previous Pokémon with the colour scheme of Graag.

Muk is now called Esplime. It looks more like a micro-organism than the pile of sludge it once was.

Any of the above plus Mankey, Rattata, Spearow and Weedle can be obtained before your second trainer battle.

The villages look about the same but the routes appear to be reformed as mazes. Cool!

The location indicator will activate for some of the routes, but will be blank for village names. It appears you need CUT to unlock all the secrets of route 2.

GRAPHICS

The new Pokémon images are not quite as high quality as Pokémon Fire Red images are, but they are spot-on as far as original creativity goes. They are all just sim... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Rijon Adventures

Party In The Rijon Region
I do not usually give tens across the board, but this game is solid.

Entirely new dialog

The starter Pokémon selection commentary is changed, a rival trying to act a little too nice seems weird and a long-winded explanation on Poke balls took many taps to get through. After you battle the first trainer on route, it seems apparent that this game explains everything as you go along. Luckily, that is not the case.

Different Map Layout

The towns look different. The character names are all changed. I caught Paras, Vulpix, Clefairy, Zubat and Geodude right away in a southern cave. Abra also appears in the cave, but of course, you will not catch him right away. In addition, as soon as you get singing Pokémon that is fast enough to catch him, he fails to appear on six consecutive walks through the cave. Bummer. After the last trainer in the first segment of the cave, you can just walk right through some rocks dead ahead. Rockets have taken over the second part of the cave.
You have your second rival battle right outside the first gym. To make up for startling you, he heals your Pokémon for you before the battle. Pokedex seems to be the one thing that has not changed or adapted to the Rijon region. I have battled Torchic, Mudkip and Treecko, but they are not showing up on the dex. The map has not changed in the Pokémon locator function of Pokedex. That is too bad because the Rijon region is entirely different from any other game. There is some talk about upgrading to the National Dex if you talk to the right people. I hope it happens soon.

Underground Path

I found an ice heal, paralysis heal, and a potion by checking every square step in the first underground path.

Game Play

I have noticed that the minor annoyance of that horrible continuous dinging when your Pokémon's health is low is curiously absent. There is a plus. Another plus is that the first gym leader's sister gives you a Water Stone ... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Ash Gray (beta 2.5z)

The Most Accurate Anime Rerun Game

Plot

This is an interesting one. If you try to leave your room at first, your Mom stops you. So much for staking out Oak's lab and getting the first pick. Ha! The first thing you do in this game is get in your pyjamas and go to sleep. If you pick girl, your character will morph into Ash Ketchum when the PJs go on, but your trainer card will still have a girl on it. Then you start dreaming about a certain trio of Pokémon and when it is time to wake up you are already late for your appointment with Professor Oak. You go to his lab in your PJs and he makes you check all the Poke balls on the counter before he tells you all the Pokémon are gone. Thank you science! Luckily (or is it my destiny?), there is one Pokémon left, but this one is a little hard to handle. Enter electric mouse! Then Oak talks your ear off for a minute, you leave and your Mom stops you on your way out and gives you a few things. Then PJ mode is over for the rest of the game I presume.

When you decide to leave town, Pikachu will refuse to battle with a pigeon Pokémon. If you try to talk to him, a sparrow Pokémon will attack him. After Pikachu defeats the sparrow, four more will block your path back to Pallet Town. The only place you can go that is not tall grass is jumping in the water. When you come out the other side, a girl approaches you and acts like you somehow disturbed her fishing spot. Then you take her bike (and morph back to girl if you picked that) and flee the scene of the crime. Then you get into another spear-type incident. Pikachu comes to your defence. Zap! Right after that, the Ho-oh looks nice as it makes its way across the game screen.

On your way into the next city, a police officer stops and questions you. She said my Pokémon was in bad shape even though he did not have a scratch on him. Then she takes you to the Pokémon center in town. Upon entering the center, the girl from ... Read the rest of this Review

Graphical Changes

In Pallet town, the Xanadu nursery was not there in previous versions. You can get to it by using CUT. Oak has a backyard with a few Pokémon in it. Route 1 extends into a second route. There is a raining thunderstorm on route 2. It also rains when you are in battle. Misty is fishing on route 2. Ho-oh makes an appearance. The Pokémon League guard stands outside instead of in. There is a house in the north end of Viridian Forest. The layout of MT Moon has changed considerably. That blabbermouth who tells everyone how to win is gone from the gyms. That is good riddance! The hack programmer modified many other routes to mirror the Pokémon Television Anime story.

Storyline modifications

Oh, no! Something has gone very wrong in Pallet Town.

I am late for the selection of my starter Pokémon! Beginners who did not sleep through their alarm have already pocketed the turtle, salamander and dinosaur monsters. Not to worry. I get the cutest Pokémon from the first generation. I make sure to ask the assistant person for some Poke balls on my way out the door. Look out! There is a rival trainer staring me down at six O'clock. Wait, I have a type advantage. Sweet! I had to talk to my mommy before leaving town. She gave me some running sneakers and told to me change my underwear. Yeah right! I am a Pokémon trainer now. I do not have that kind of time. I am busy fending off random sparrows on Meta steroids at route 2. Somehow, I already have a Pokedex. After fending off a few scary birdies, I find a Misty-rious girl and upon talking to her find myself on a bicycle. She says to give it back, but somehow I cannot. I soldier on. I zap one more “Captain Jack” bird and then see a Ho-oh flap across the screen. There is a nice person waiting to take me to a Pokémon center so I can heal my new pocket monsters. Whew! I go back to the girl and she says it is okay that I took her b... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Frosty

It's all about The Game and how you play it!

GRAPHICS and SOUND

The scenery and introduction of this hack are quite different from Pokémon Ruby. After you start playing, you see Professor Birch as usual, but the silhouette of a Charmeleon pops out of his Poke Ball instead of the Lotad. The moving truck you so cruelly had to ride in the back of is really a copy of Mr. Briney’s boat on the outside. If you pick a girl character, it is still a moving truck. The girl who I will call “May” has hair that changes color as she walks. Once you are in your house, (and if you pick a boy character) you will notice the Pokémon workers are now a Team Aqua member and a moving truck. They still sound like Pokémon, but if you talk to the T.A. Member (or lower Machoke in May’s adventure), he will curse profanely about how heavy his load is. Every time you step into the outside of your new hometown, it will snow and then stop right away. The ground is a blanket of white as are the trees. It could just be frost, hence Pokémon “Frosty”. Get used to this because frost, rain and various levels of snowing are a dominant theme throughout the game. The townspeople are different looking. Professor Birch’s aide is a Magnemite that talks. The person who stops you from leaving town is a Team Aqua grunt. There is what looks like staircases on the first two routes that help you avoid the grass. I quickly learned why I should avoid the grass on the first three routes. (I will give you more on that later.) The sounds and music are usual for the Hoenn region games. The imagery and dialog seem bizarre, yet somehow still enjoyable. I still like the way my character morphs into a little person with a cape when he runs. The bike helmet is not too shabby either. Note: As you catch more Pokemon and fill up your box, you will notice some are slightly discolored when in the box.

STORY

Moreover, on dialog, Professor Birch now calls his laboratory a “... Read the rest of this Review
