Princess Maker - Faery Tales Come True I dont get how some areas end up in English, but the rest of the game is still in Japaneses. That makes very little sense.
Princess Maker 2 All the most interesting games seem to always be in Japanese....
Mega Man X Playing this now, I'm trying to remember what I was doing or how well I was playing in order to make to Sigma palace 1 when I was a kid, because I just recently found out bosses had weaknesses and had no upgrades minus the boots.
Mega Man X I'll say the most retarded thing they did with this game was add in the rapid respawn rate. Walk away for a second and the enemy is back.
Harvest Moon: Back To Nature Back in the day, I would always marry Mary[Liberian with the glasses]. I never succeeded in marrying the hottest girl Karen.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Turtles in Time (4 Players ver UAA) @SuperTeenOne Want to beat this game? Dont use drugs?
Street Fighter 2 of Rage Cammy should have seriously been Blaze's spot and not Bison. It sounds Bison took estrogen before stage 1...
Pokemon - Touhou Merry's Version One thing I hate about fan hacks especially Pokemon hacks, the creators always try to over power everything. The first rival battle was cheap!
WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role L1
AAAHH!!! Real Monsters What is about the older games that makes them so blinkin hard?!

The brawl that started it all!
Super! SMAAAAAAAASH BROOOOOOOTHERRRRRRS!
It's the beat-em-up smackdown brawl that started it all! All the super Nintendo mega stars have come together, in one big slug fest to prove whom among them is the best! Select your favorite character and get ready for reckon, and by the way, make sure you don't forget to bring the weapons. We have Pokeballs, bats, beam swords right out of starwars! You really will get far, because I'll send you flying when I power up with a star! You can solo fight or take it to the next level, enter three other characters for a four way battle and show the world that you are rebel! I've teamed up with the Mario Bro's and entered Mushroom world, I've just shot Samus with a ray gun and wait! He was a girl?! The possibility's are limitless, as the clock counts down and Nintendo characters become relentless! Are you ready?..Theres no time to wait!..3! 2! 1! GO!

Hello and welcome reader and readers. This is my long review for Super Smash Bro's for the Nintendo N64. If there was no other games I was ever good at, it was this game. The original Super Smash Bro's for the Nintendo N64 was one of the most deserving games to ever hold the title beat-em up and changed the way we look at them. I had played this game so much, I was just about 99% unbeatable with Mario, The other 1% is where people stand in one spot, block and throw the entire game. I still to this day own this game and I still use to play this game long after Game Cube introduced Super Smash Bro's Melee and the Nintendo Wii introduced Super Smash Bro's Brawl. I mean I don't throw away the classic's and you shouldn't either. You never know when you might get the urge to return later.

Difficulty- 5 out of 10

Yu-Gi-Oh Duelists of the Roses
12-22-13 10:54 PM
What side would you choose?
Story-8 out of 10
Yugi and Seto in alternate version of yu-gi-oh set during Medieval Europe somewhat based on the true world English wars, continue they're long rivalry once again as the two sides, Red Rose Yorkists for Yugi's army and White Rose Lancastrians for Seto's army fight for whats right and wrong. You are summoned from your world into the ancient time period by Simon Mcmoonran, so he can enlist your aid in helping Yu-Gi defeat Seto and the Lancastrians, however Seto himself soon appears and attempts to enlist your aid right from under Simon's nose. Depending on which side you take, you would have to defeat 8 characters from the tv show and collect they're 8 rose cards, in order for you to summon the pure evil Manawyddan fab Llyr and defeat him.

Depth-7 out of 10
Well I can't tell a lie. This game doesn't have an entire world of things for you to do outside of playing two different stories in store mode with a new spin on the yu-gi-oh card game. There's only one other feature in the game and it allows you to customize your own battle zones. They're could have been more to the feature besides facing the computer that's using the exact same copy of your deck when you could be facing other tv show characters, but it's not all so bad.

Difficulty-7 out of 10
The game isn't that hard. Some characters are more push overs, while some just flat out play dirty. Other than that there's not much of a challenge especially if you got the right cards right from the very beginning. Not even Yu-Gi and Seto the head leaders of they're fractions will give you too much trouble. The only true hard character is the final boss Manawyddan and if you know how to deal with his brute power, shouldn't take very long to beat him.

Addictiveness-7 out of 10
The game can be quite the ball for a little while especially if you love being able to customize your own board's, using your favorite... Read the rest of this Review
WWE Smackdown Shut Your Mouth
12-21-13 11:56 PM
Know your role and SHUT your mouth!
Story
The game doesn't have a set story line like all wrestling games. Instead you enter story mode and follow the path of story-line's once used in the WWE Raw and Smackdown TV shows, with path's changing depending on the choices you make. That means in the storyline where you are suppose to replace The Rock in his real life Wrestlemania match where he faced Hollywood Hulk at Wrestlemania, if you fail to defeat Hogan or don't make it to the Wrestlemania main event, he'll win and continue to cause trouble with his NWO followers X-Pac and Kevin Nash.

Difficulty- 4 out of 10
If it was one thing I knew back in the day before the new generation of WWE2k14 and so on, is that Smackdown related games were beyond easy. From the option menu there is four types of difficulty's to pick from. Easy, Normal, Hard and Smackdown which actually means super hard and from the get go I was whooping on everyone on super hard with almost zero challenge. You don't even really need to be a pro. Once you understand one simple tactic, the computer most likely will never be able to get its face off the ring mat.

Depth-10 out of 10
This was when WWE went all out on there games. Today's newer WWE games, lack so many features such as an actual storyline path for you to follow. Not only did you have a big roster of wrestlers to pick from and plenty of awesome matches, but the game introduced, one of the WWE's biggest story mode features that expanded 3 years within the game. You were allowed to actually leave the arena and explore like 4 to 5 other area such as Time Square in New York or get on a subway that transported you there. You were even allowed to interact with the superstars both none created and ones you created. Depending on what you did or said to them, would either earn you title matches, pulled you into back stage brawls, made you partners and sometimes just for laughs. They don't make these like they use.

Rugrats: Search for Reptar

Wheres my Reptar puzzle?
Story-8 out of 10
As the story goes, the game opens up with the shows main character Tommy Pickles whom is playing with his other friends Chuckie and the twins Phil and Lil. Upon going to get his favorite toy which looks like Reptar and contains a bunch of puzzle pieces, he soon starts to cry when he notices that all his puzzle pieces are missing. The game starts after Tommy swears upon the Reptar can that he would find every last piece if its the last he does. Let's be honest here. Puzzles are not a good toy to give a baby, but we didn't care. We still enjoyed the story none the less.

Difficulty-7 out of 10
Depending on which episodes you play, the more challenging the difficulty, which is mainly between easy and normal. Theres a good chance you'll never have to play any episodes that are actually hard, because its possible to collect all the puzzle pieces before you even enter one or by time you start a hard episode, you'll be one puzzle away from automatically being ported to the final stage. Not much stress in this area.

Depth-7 out of 10
For a kids game, it's got plenty for you to do. You can either play the mini games from the main menu, or complete the story mode and help Tommy explore the entire house to find all his Reptar puzzle pieces and put them back together again. Each game, you play is an episode you relive from the actual tv show, such as "Ice Cream Mountain", "Toy Palace", "Chuckie's glasses" and "Let there be light". Playing these episodes helps you find other puzzles and awards you another puzzle upon completing them. The game isn't very long depending if you know where to go and if you are collecting pieces up fast. The game would average between maybe no more to 40 minutes to an hour.

Sound-7 out of 10
The game has decent sound to it which gives you the feel of actually being in the Rugrats tv show, which is what it's suppose to do right? The drawback... Read the rest of this Review
WCW-nWo Revenge
12-20-13 07:59 PM
Let me tell you about this game BROTHER!
Introduction
A game made in the 90's! A period where wrestling was at it's hottest. For those of you whom are not wrestling fans or a late wrestling fan, back in the late 90's, there was something called the Monday Night Wars. Two wrestling company's named WCW World Champion Wrestling and WWF World Wrestling Federation[Now known today as WWE World Wrestling Entertainment] were batting each other for top ratings. WCW was a monster, because it was managed by people whom were punishing the WWE by slander, show spoilers and anything else it could do to ruin the company, leading it to defeat the WWE 84 weeks straight in the rating. These types of tricks and less show development would later back fire back on WCW and allow the WWE to defeat them once and for all.

Before the WCW went under and was brought by Vince Mcmahon, the owner of the WWE, WCW was starting to change the face of Wrestling games forever when they responded with it's sequel to WCW/NWO World Tour named WCW/NWO Revenge which took a much more richer look into the wrestling game world. Of course WWE made games too, and with the huge success of Revenge, the WWE said we're not gonna take this and responded back with it's own huge hit Wrestle-Mania 2000.

Story
Couldn't give this game a rating, as it doesn't have much story, besides being in a period where group NWO is still terrorizing and fighting a war with the WCW roster wrestlers whom did not join up with them. As the intro opens up, Sting, a guy whom has been on the receiving end of the New World Order's brutality multiple times, returns to the WCW with a new look and stronger will to fight and seek REVENGE on the NWO's leader Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Besides that little information, you don't actually follow a storyline in this game. You just pick a wrestler and fight.

Pokemon Yellow

Why you no take Thunder Stone?!
Introduction
Hello reader and readers and thanks for checking out my review of "Pok?mon Yellow" for the Game Boy Color. So since this is a Pokemon review and there are thousands of them on this site. I'm going to keep this was short, sweet and to the point, but attempting to provide you with as much information about the game as possible.

Difficulty- 4 out of 10
Pokemon games are not exactly known for being difficult. Pokemon Yellow wasn't much of a challenge either, seeing as it was simply just a special edition spin off Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. As a matter of fact, the hardest area in the game was having to take an electric type to a rock and ground gym, where you was at a huge disadvantage of your electric attacks not working and your normal attacks simply just not cutting it.

Addictiveness- 10 out of 10
Pokemon games can rehash the same type of plot every time of, you getting your first Pokemon, leaving home to start your Pokemon adventure when you haven't even finished the 5th grade yet, collecting badges for the Pokemon League, starting a fight with a group of Pokemon gangsters whom would have killed you and taken all your Pokemon in real life and complete your Pokedex, just so you can say you are the Pokemon Master of 700 plus creatures in your PC, that you have no attention of ever using and still score millions of dollars with ever release. I was fond of Yellow however, because it was the first Pokemon game that actually allowed an actual Pokemon to follow you around, and the best part was it actually had reactions to show you depending on what was going on.

Graphics- 10 out of 10
In terms of look, Yellow takes a more superior look to Pokemon Red and Blue titles when it came to details of the Pokemon, since the previous game designs looked horrible. Pidgey can now smile now that he actually looks like a Pidgey from the anime.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV - Turtles in Time

9.95!
Introduction
Hello and welcome to me review for TMNT Turtles in time 4 for the SNES. This is by far one of my most favorite childhood games growing up and I only wish I still had this for my Super Nintendo [I don't throw away the classics..EVER!]. In this review I will be comparing the Super Nintendo port to the original classic arcade port of Turtles in Time.

Graphics-9 out of 10
It's the Super Nintendo and good graphics is what the Super Nintendo was good at, however the arcade version does still beat this one in terms of superior look and details.

Difficulty-7 out of 10
The game takes a little bit of practice, but once you get the hang of things, you'll be amazed that you ever really lost in the first place. It can be a bit chaotic like most games the further you get, but even on normal you won't notice too much of a difference. Really the only hardest stage is "Starbase" and that's because its a mix of all Foot Ninjas and as plenty of traps for you to avoid.

Bosses take on they're on difficulty away from the arcade, as the arcade bosses just punch and chase, but the Super Nintendo bosses require you to use your brain a little bit more. Using Slash as an example, whom is no doubt the hardest boss in the game and use to have me in fear of reaching his stage as a kid, does indeed have flaws. He hits like a truck, but is also kind of a moron. If you can manage to stay out the way of his mean blades and back him into a corner, he'll expose himself allow you to make fast work of him.

Super Shredder, is another guy as a kid I use to didn't think I could beat at all without some help and I was somewhat right. A couple months ago when I first joined this site, this was the first game I made my way too and Shredder beat me badly. Later on, it soon became clear to me, that Shredders movements were as predictable side jumping him and letting him have it.

Street Fighter 2 Champ. Edition
12-18-13 10:49 PM
For the day you read this was the happiest day of your life, but for me, it was Tuesday
Introduction
Sorry! I couldn't help it with the title XD
Hello and welcome to my review of Street Fighter 2, Champion Edition. This game was actually the very game that turned me into a gamer and while I still to this day kind of suck at Street Fighter games, I still very much play them.

Difficulty-8 out of 10
The game doesn't exactly have a standard hardness to it, since it's the type of game where you can go to option menu and adjust it manually, however even if you set the game to very easy, the game is fixated to get slightly harder for every character you defeat. This game can still give pro's a run for there money at times, because if it's not Bison's over powered Psycho Crusher, Sagat is standing in one spot spamming you with projectiles and than has the nerve to laugh at you when he beats you.

Addictiveness-9 out of 10
If you love classic beat down style games, than you are in the right place with street fight. A series that has made beat downs famous. After all these were the types of games you went to the arcade for as a kid to throw away your parents hard earned quarters and the better you become, the hooked you become making it worth the spare change.

Depth-7 out of 10
There's not much in this area to cover, since this is a beat down game. Your only real main objective is to defeat your enemy in two rounds, beside bonus rounds where you punch brick walls and beat up A Honda. Not E.Honda! I mean a actual car! Also since this is Special Edition Street Fighter 2, you are given access to play "The 4 kings", Bison,Vega,Balrog and Sagat. The four main bosses you wouldn't be able to in standard Street Fighter 2.

Graphics-10 out of 10
The graphics are pretty awesome. It's the Super Nintendo, so of course the look and details would be well put together, but that's not to give Nintendo all the credit as Sega did a awesome j... Read the rest of this Review
Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog

CURSE THAT...Pink Hedgehog?
Introduction
Hello and welcome to one of my bigger reviews. I'm Durell89 and this review is for Sonic's pink, wanna be girlfriend and stalker, Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog. The last review I did for this girl was less than a week ago, when I finally got finished with that super long game Sonic 3 and Amy Rose or Amy Rose in Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I spent the last few months, working with Sonic hacks, trying to build a video library of these games for my Youtube channel, starting back with both Sally Acorn in Sonic the Hedgehog one and Sally Acorn in Sonic the Hedgehog two. When all the reviews and videos were finally done for Sally, I decided to finally take a interest in Amy Rose, whom is a rival for Sonic's love[Not really, but don't tell Amy fans that, because they can be vampires about this].

I don't mind Amy Rose at all. It's just her crazy fan's and they're shipping wars that have turned me away from this character. You can't be a Sally Acorn fan, because they are so dead set on trying to force the Sonic and Amy relationship to work, when Sonic doesn't want any love life relationship with her ever. Amy is a balanced character in comics but when Sega writers for her, shes nothing more than a crazy fan girl whom only really wants to bump Sonic's brains out.

Story-10 out of 10
Classic Sonic where he has to free the animals Egg man as enslaved and get the emeralds before he can and destroy the world. This game was when the story was fresh and before Sega over milked it to death and the game that shot the fire in the gaming wars with Nintendo and they're Super Mario.

This is a Amy Rose hack, so the story might be a little different. How about, Amy arrived at South Island looking for Sonic, because she had feelings for him. Once there she realizes hes currently nowhere in the area, which ends badly for because she soon finds herself in trouble with one of Eggmans evil robots. When backed ... Read the rest of this Review
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles - The Hypersone Heist
12-17-13 11:57 PM
Turtle power!
Story- 7 out of 10
This game brings somewhat of a new spin on TMNT Turtles in Time from the arcade and port of the Super Nintendo, but it's still not much different from the same dry story that the previous games have. In this one, The Shredder has gotten hold of something called the hyper stone and once again has the Statue of Liberty just like previous related Turtles in Time games. While, it's a fresh take on the game, it comes of as a little weaker, because not only is there no explanation again as to why Shredder wants the Statue of Liberty, time travel doesn't come into play anywhere in this game, but it's a beat-em-up, so this type of stuff isn't really new.

Depth-6 out of 10
This game is lacking a lot in the depth department since its a bit shorter. Lets start at the top. First off, there are lesser stages in this game, but they are a bit longer than the usual Turtles in time levels such as, Alley-Cat Blues now being apart of Sewer-Surfin.
Second, there are lesser bosses as well....lesser and more crappy bosses. Rockstready is in this game, but wheres Bebop?! You can't have Rockstready without Bebop! Those two are like Peanut Butter and Jelly! Leatherhead returns, Krang returns, but in his body suit just like Neon-Night Riders, but is listed as just Krang instead of Super Krang, the human form of Baxter Stockman, Super Shredder of course and...Tatsu from the movies?! Not that there is any wrong with mixing up, but this game is a hit and miss, that never got it's full potential tapped into.

Difficulty-8 out 10
This is somewhat debated between fans, but this game is a little bit more harder than Turtles in Time for the Super Nintendo. Enemies and bosses have a slight more aggressive nature to them not witnessed since the classic Turtles in Time arcade port, but that's not saying much either. Again this goes back to that potential not being tapped into.

The family that slays together
Introduction
One of Konami's more famous beat-em-up style games, The Simpsons arcade released back in 1991. This is a game on my occasions, I've had the privilege of playing and beating as a kid. The most notorious place to find this type of game now in day's is a bowling alley where I discovered it, besides it's 2012 ports on the X-Box Live and Play Station Network.

Story- 4 out of 10
These beat-em-ups usually never have much of a story to them, besides just making an excuse for you to fight multiple enemies. As the story goes, the Simpsons family is strolling though town, when BAM! Mr.Smithers, whom was robbing a jewelry store for a large diamond for lord knows why, because it's not like Mr.Burns is not rich, bumps into Homer which causes the diamond to fly out his hand into Maggies mouth which becomes a pacifier for her. Now instead of the logical, way where he just takes the diamond from Maggie's mouth, Smithers decides to kidnap her altogether and send goons after the other family members just to keep them away, because it's not like Homer doesn't for the same boss! Meh..What did we care? We just wanted to brawl, so it didn't matter if the story was stupid.

Difficulty- 8 out of 10
I gave this a 8 because it's a beat-em-up. These games are famous, for out numbering and fighting dirty just to get you to dish out the quarters and come back for more like a gambling addict at a slot machine!
"Just one more game! I know I got it this time! Hey man can I barrow a quarter?!" The Simpsons arcade was no different, but it's not exactly as hard as say "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: in Time" arcade, because you can actually get pretty far in this game soloing on a $5's worth of quarters. Don't take that the wrong way however. Smithers and Mr.Burns will see to it that you at least give up another $5 dollar bill before the game is over.

Addictiveness- 9 out of 10
If you love, classic punching, kicking and smashing your way though... Read the rest of this Review

Farming meets Sims!
Introduction
Looking for something to play that's out of the usual? Do you enjoy "The Sims?" Do you like RPG's? Do you enjoy building and farming games? Here's a game with a mix of all those elements, that would slowly creep upon you! Found this in a CVS as a kid where I was just buying random games, a lot of people wouldn't even consider unless it was possibly found in a Game Stop or Target. This was the Harvest Moon that started my love for the series and a good game to start with if you ever expressed any interest in Harvest Moon.
Graphics
The look of the game wasn't amazing, but they were no horrible either. It's one of those games that look sorta like clay animation more than anything. Sorta misses details such as facial looks where you can only see eyes and movements are kind of skipping when you run.
I give the graphics a 7 out of 10
Story
I'm not sure just how much the N64 and Game boy color versions are different, but in this one, you return to the farm where you spent your childhood and the place where you promised the little girl you once played with you would return to someday, because you found out that your grandfather had passed away. The farm has fallen apart in the time your grandfather has been gone and is need of major restoring. The problem is, the towns folk have no faith in your abilities to be the man your grandfather use to be and had the nerve to make a vote that, if you don't restore the farm to its former glory within 3 years, you must leave town.
I give the story a 8 out of 10
Difficulty
Not a difficult game at all. That goes double for if this isn't your first Harvest Moon game. This was my very first Harvest Moon and I did encounter the bad ending once, but I think it was mostly because I ended up with a dead animal and slept too much without advancing my progress. It's a farming game...So there's no major challenge unless you simply can't figure out how to restore your farm. Really the biggest ... Read the rest of this Review
Wacky Races
12-16-13 01:27 AM
And away they go! On the way out Wacky Races!
Introduction
Here's a light game that's not really too hard but not too easy either. I found this in a CVS as a kid along with "Harvest Moon Back to Nature" for the play station one and "Spy vs Spy", for the game Boy Color. Three games that clearly were not getting enough credit if they were banished to a corner store where you pick up medication. Since this a pretty basic game, I'll keep this review short.

Story
This game doesn't really have a story. This game is based off the Hanna-Barbera 1968 cartoon show, which of course is called Wacky Races. It was inspired by the 1965 film "The great race". It's pretty much just a slap stick tv show where the racers are trying to compete for the title of worlds greatest racer as they attempt to beat each other out with car's built with gadgets, almost similar to that of Speed Racers Mark 5. The cartoon has a running gag, where one of the racers named Dick Dastardly and his dog sidekick Muttley are always trying to completely one side cheat with double handed tricks in order to win a race, but always fails and ends up dead last because of it.

Difficulty
It's not so much hard at times as it can be simply annoying. In a championship race, you'll learn pretty fast, it's not good to drive directly behind a racer, as they can quickly drop bombs and oil spills that could mess you up and set you back about two to three places. Other than that, the computer can be really stupid at times, such as the stage that requires you to drive up a ramp to get over the lava, in order to not blow up your car and slow you down. The computer can't and won't recognize the ramp and instead runs directly into the lava and blows themselves up. Also once you are in first place, there is a good chance they'll never be able to catch up with you for the rest of the race.

Depth
There is not a whole lot to this game. It's just a basic racing game with a few Mario K... Read the rest of this Review

One ring to...GET SONIC TO GO OUT WITH ME! XOX
Introduction
Hello reader and readers. Thanks for checking out my latest review for Amy Rose in Sonic three and Knuckles. In case you been following my reviews lately, I been playing and writing about a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog hacks as of late. So far I've played both Sally Acorn in Sonic the Hedgehog one and Sally Acorn in Sonic the Hedgehog two. I later wrote two reviews for her. I'm a huge supporter of her so I had to throw my favorite Sonic princess her dues. I later moved on to Sonic the hedgehog two heroes hack than on to Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog in both one and two. I told I been a busy Sonic player as of late steady trying to build a library hack Sega.

Now finally after weeks of game play and video uploads of Sonic's want to be girlfriend, Amy Rose in Sonic three and Knuckles; I can finally muster up some more motivation for this game review. It's a game that kind of beat me down in many ways good and bad. I suppose I deserve it. I went head first into this game blind and as the game intensity rose from later levels, the more my patience was tested. What possibly saved me a few insanity point's is the fact Amy Rose brought a few tricks to the table that would have other wise made this a nightmare with basic Sonic, but sometimes there were points where Amy lacked abilities needed that could have just broke my game all together.
Lets get started shall we?

Depth
Does it have depth? Does it ever! This is Sonic the Hedgehog three and Sonic and Knuckles mashed together with the fusion of the super emeralds. You have six intense stages from the first half of Sonic the Hedgehog three and you have seven more even intense stages from the second half of Sonic three and Knuckles and each act is pretty long with many obstacles to over come, which means you are in for a longer rider than you would from previous Sonic games.

Aladdin

An actual game based on a movie that didnt fail
Introduction
Hello to all those reading my 4th review and this time I've made sure I knew how many this time. This time I'm doing a review for a game I have a lot of history with and that's Aladdin for the Super Nintendo.
When I was about 6 or 7 years old and living with my mother and her boyfriend, at some point his brothers son came to visit for a little while and he brought some of games with him. Those games were Donkey Kong Country and the other of course was Aladdin. He told me how the game use to make him upset and how his mother didn't like the fact he was getting angry at it. I suppose he was stuck in the cave of wonders which I will speak more of in a moment.
Anyway after a couple days, I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not, but he left his copy of the game with me and I guess you can say I became the owner of the game from than on out. About 18 years later I still own this game and the Super Nintendo to play this on and every blue moon I still play it for sport. Don't let my play run of the game fool you. I'm a lot better on the home system than playing it on the computer dealing with lag and a stiff controller.[Yes its a very good excuse].

Difficulty
I gave this game a five in difficulty for a reason. If you have a lot of trouble with this game, not trying to be mean, but maybe you are not simply trying hard enough. Than again, I kinda take that back. The game is a lot more challenging if you lack one key item. The sheet! Which is pretty much a must have item when playing this game, because it gives you so much control over where you fall or jump. To be honest I can't really find myself playing without it as I have a habit of using even when its clear I'm safe and when I don't have it, my play run pretty much falls to pieces quick fast in a hurry. The most noticeable place where its usually needed is, in Genie world stages one to two where you got to get a... Read the rest of this Review
Sally Acorn in Sonic the Hedgehog

Sally Acorn to the rescue!
Introduction and about the character
Hello and welcome to what I believe is my 4th review[I've kind of lost count since its been awhile]. This isn't my first review of a hack and as a matter of fact, the first review I did for this site was for Sally Acorn in Sonic the Hedgehog two. As a fan and huge supporter of the character, when I first found out about the game, I couldn't resist jumping on board and playing the sprite hacks. I started with Sonic the Hedgehog two first since I knew it better and because I wasn't as fond of Sonic the Hedgehog one.
"Who is Sally Acorn? I never seen this character in Sonic X,? I've never picked up a Sonic the Hedgehog comic before and I've never seen her in any video games until this hack."
Sally Acorn is the princess of Mobotroplis and freedom fighter. She's best known to older Sonic fans for her appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog that appeared on Saturday mornings. Better known as SatAm. She's highly intelligent and will do whatever it takes to protect her people. Her best friend is Bunnie Rabbot and her most noticeable device that she rely on a lot in most situations is NICOLE; her computer with a mind of its own.
Sally also an unlucky target of attacks, such as her lack of clothing, because it's ok if male characters like Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker or Sonic the Hedgehog himself get to walk around in the nude, but if a female character starts acting like the boy's, it's suddenly blasphemy. Another issue Sally is often the victim of is Amy Rose fans who consider a threat to Sonic's affection because shes Sonic's original girlfriend way back from both the tv show and in the comics Which is odd because Amy and Sally are friends, Sonic has no interest in Amy and Sonic and Sally are married with two kids in the future. Truth be told, I rather have a strong attractive girl like Sally whom can defend herself than a fan girl brat like Amy whom stalks me everywhere.[No offense to the sane Amy Rose fans]

Sally Acorn in Sonic the Hedgehog 2

This is a challenge and not the good kind
Let me start by saying, I'm a fan of Sonic/Sally, so when I made Sally my youtube channel mascot, I couldn't resist giving this a try. Am I happy with the experience? Not so much. Am I going to continue to play this game? With the help of save state, I'm going keep playing until I finally finish it.?The person who created this hack did a really good job adding in Sally Acorn over Sonic. If you didn't know it was a hack, you might would have thought this was an official game that Sega decided never to use.?Difficulty-What they didn't give Sally was the support that Sonic has to defend herself. That little gun she has, puts you at the mercy of even minor enemy's, because you have to get so close to them when you use it. I'm not sure if we can reference video's by link here, but there is another version of the Sally Acorn hack for the first Sonic on?youtube,?where she can spin kick in midair. I rather have that, over a gun with no range on it.You might as well shout out "GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!", because when you start running, you are going to end up running into everything! She has some type of somersault move I still can't figure out[note to self, I'm using a Super Nintendo controller when I play, but still].?If I didn't have experience from beating Sonic 2 once already from the Sonic Mega Collection, things might be so much worst and yet I still fear for my life, because of zones like Brain Scrap and beyond where things stat getting more chaotic. Sorry Tails, but I will use you as a sacrifice if I must.AddictivenessMeh...Maybe the unhacked Sonic 2, but this feels too much like an unnecessary task. At least to me anyway so I can't speak for other. They might just overall love any sonic game in general, so the flaws of this game wouldn't matter as much.
SoundClassic sound and music from the original game. No issue at all in that department.

Graphics
Same as above with no issues given.

I don't think I need to say much more on the game. I'll give ... Read the rest of this Review
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Turtles in Time (4 Players ver UAA)

Classic from a era long gone
This version of TMNT Turtles in Time, has beat out the SNES version as my favorite turtles game by far.I had a small glimpse of this in a pool hall as a small child, but I can't remember ever actually playing it myself. Than again I missed out on a lot of these types of games and I must thank Vizzed, because now I get the chance to finally say I did. This game was simply amazing for a game created in the early 90's! Sound, graphic details ect, I would say the ONLY thing it doesn't have that the SNES version has is better bosses[Super Shredder,Slash,Rat King,Bebop and Rocksteady]As far as it's difficulty goes, you should NOT be expecting a fair fight. Lets be honest! This is the arcade version, which means it was built throw out as many enemy's at you as it can in order to make you give up the quarters in order to beat it. Another example is Simpsons Arcade. On this site you have an advantage of setting the amount of lives you want, but back in the day if you were planning to solo, I would strongly suggest using Mikey since he hits the hardest or Leo because he's balanced.I rate this game a 9/10 overall.
