Dragon Ball Z - Legendary Super Warriors

One of the best games of the era of GBC
So I just did  this review and it vanished now I have to do it all over again the joy....

Graphics 7/10

The Graphics are pretty stellar for a game on the GBC. Most of the time you will do standard kick and punch combos but every character has their own animations and fighting style that's unbelievable love for detail right there. And the special attacks look so gorgeous. It doesn't matter  if it is Gokus Spiritbomb or Friezas Super Dash Elbow. It looks awesome and does tons of damage. Compared to other games from this time that's pretty good.

Sound 8/10

The Sound of the game is also great given the limitations of the GBC. The normal battle music for example used in the training fights or for most of the time is pretty nice and rhythmic. And then there are pretty intense music for the story heavy fights like Goku vs Frieza. Also the music for the story sequences are great.

Addictiveness 10/10

This game is so addictive for many reasons.

First of all you can level the stats of every single character like you want it. For Example full physical damage Gohan or pure KI monster Goku with devastating Spiritbombs.

Secondly you can get EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER TO PLAY. That's huge given also all the different forms for many of them.

For the 3rd Reason: After you played through the game the first time you can enter everytime a new game plus keeping everything you ever earned on earlier playthroughs. Making it Possible to get every single character and every single ability in the game.

I played this game on my old Game boy Color and I played through it at least 100 times without any tools to speed up the story sequences (that's an awful lot believe me).

Also after the first Playthrough comes the Brawl mode. There you get a random enemy  in a random form and after a few wins you will get a lot of cards and levels.

Old but Gold
Okay so lets gets started with my first review.

This game is very old and it was one of my first games so my judgement may be clouded a little bit.

 But lets start:

Story 4/10

You start and you immediately see whats the story is Pete and his little helpers are seeing that Mickey and his friends are having a party.

Of course Pete wants to disrupt the party and make everyone feel miserable so he and his helpers steal drive up and steal all the party stuff.

You want to get it back and that's the whole story. It may be not much story but that's not surprising given the hardware limitations and this game is great for its really fun Gameplay.

Gameplay 10/10

Not only is getting to the worlds a nice puzzle its unbelievable fun to solve to get Casey jar. To he destined location. The levels and all driving stages + the puzzles before the boss levels are also Fun to solve and have a really good difficulty curve. The mini game levels with Pluto are unbelievable. The stages look nice background fits the levels every time and the different approaches like defeat butch or get all bones are really a nice variation now and then. The tracks get harder with each character you get but are never unbeatable or repetitive also some levels have secret ways and to find them and use them was a blast. The change from car to boat is really well done and doesn`t change to much gameplay other than watching out for the speedup waves. Searching the nuts and tracktalers is also really nice done and the different places are all really beautiful made but to that in a second. Another big thing are the different abilities which you can get from gundel gaukely at her place (which looks gorgeous by the way ) there are so many of them and its really fun to just snipe you're enemies with the net or the bouncing shots its just so much fun to wait at the end just to shoot Pete backwards ^^.
