Pokken Tournament DX

Review of Pokken Tournament DX
Here's a review on Pokken Tournament DX that was released on the Nintendo Switch on September 22nd, 2017. This was a remaster/port of the original Pokken Tournament game that was released 1 1/2 years ago on the Wii-U. When the Wii-U flopped, Nintendo wanted to bring their popular Pokemon fight game onto the Switch and let people duke it out with their favorite Pokemon against other trainers, either by single player, or by battling online.

Onto the review of Pokken Tournament DX

--------------------

Graphics...
Although majority of the graphics hasn't really much changed than we seen with the Wii-U version, unless you're one of those "detailed" type of people, and you'll notice that the screen resolution has updated slightly, although when you switch to either tabletop mode or handheld mode, you'll basically have the same resolution from the Wii-U version, which is a big improvement from the Wii-U version.

Moving on from the whole difference between the Wii-U version and the Switch version, the Graphics from the game itself, it has a semi-realistic look towards all of the Pokemon that are used in the game, like for an example, with me being a Lucario main on Pokken Tournament DX, you can really make out all the details that were put into the Pokemon, such as all the detailed fur, the sharp looking spikes, and the bright aura it uses, I just really love the complete details that Nintendo has put into this game and I love it.

Also, for the setting of the Ferrum region, it also looks quite detailed as well, anything between the snowy Old Ferrum Town (Winter), to the Colorful looks of Tellur Town (Autumn), To the lively looks of Neos City in both the day time and the night time. It's a fantastic look.

As for the Graphics, I give it a perfect 10 out of 10, I just love the semi-realistic look that they give these Pokemon, and the crisp looks of the battlefields

Pokemon Black

Review of Pokemon Black
Here's a review on one of my most favorite Pokemon game in history, as well as my 2nd most favorite video game in history (only behind Super Mario Bros. 3) which happens to be Pokemon Black (& White)

Pokemon Black (& White) was a new direction that the entire Pokemon franchise wanted to take to bring in newer fans toward the series. Pokemon Black was released on March 6th, 2011 in North America (as well as as March 4th, 2011 in Europe, March 10th, 2011 in Australia, and September 18th in Japan), these two pair of Pokemon games introduced a brand new Generation in the Pokemon franchise (the 5th Generation), which introduced 156 new Pokemon which happened to break Generation 1's record of 151 new Pokemon which is a whole lot of Pokemon introduced in a single Generation, and I'm not complaning, the more, the merrier.

Pokemon Black (& White) has also introduced a brand new region called the "Unova" Region, and what makes the Unova region different from the Previous 4 regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh), that Unova didn't have anykind of connections towards those 4 regions, and let it be it's own stand alone region, other than some visitors that visit the Unova region from other regions. With Unova being it's own stand alone region, this is what brought that 156 different Pokemon introduced.

Well, enough of me just simply talk about how much I always love about Generation V, especially with Pokemon Black (& White), I'm going to break everything down in this review to tell you why I absolutely love this game and why it's my most prefer Pokemon game in the entire franchise...

--------------------

Graphics...
With the graphical capabilities in Pokemon Black, it has changed that 45-degree birds-eye view that we have seen in previous entries, to having a lot more angle shots such as top-view, side views. Game Freak has basically pushed the graphical capabilities to the max that the Nintendo ... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Ultra Sun

Review of Pokemon Ultra Sun
Here's a review on the 1 of the 2nd pair of 7th Generation Pokemon games, Ultra Sun. Ultra Sun (along with Ultra Moon) was released November 17th, 2017. This game tells an alternative storyline from the original Sun & Moon games that were released a year prior, as well as this game also added more Pokemon from other regions to make a more diverse list of Pokemon to capture.

Graphics...

The first thing you'll notice once you start playing Ultra Sun (or Ultra Moon, or even Sun/Moon), you'll notice that Game Freak took more of a semi-realistic look towards the game instead of the chibi-cartoonish look that we have seen in Generation VI, and the Pixelated look from Generation V and prior, and with this, it has given it more of a realistic feel whenever you're playing the games. Although the only thing that hasn't changed a whole lot is the battles, although they have recycled the Gen VI battle screens, but they have tweaked a tiny bit, mostly with the moves.

For the Graphics, I give it a 10, mostly with the semi-realistic look and the updated graphics from Gen VI.

---------------------

Sound/Music...

With the Sound Effects, not really have changed a whole lot, basically about the same as with the previous Pokemon Entries, although some of the sound effects got a whole lot more clearer during the release of Ultra Sun (and Ultra Moon).

For the music, it has brought that mixture of the typical Pokemon music you came to known for the past nearly 22 years and those Tropical/Polynesian music. Every Pokemon release all has a type of theme to fit their games, between Black's, White's, Black 2's, & White 2's Urban themes, to X's & Y's Classy themes, to Sun's, Moon's, Ultra Sun's, & Ultra Moon's Tropical/Polynesian themes. It's also not just the Regional themes, it's all those classical music as well from the battle music, the Pokemon Center theme stick around with a more tropical remix ... Read the rest of this Review
Tony Hawk\'s American Wasteland

Review of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
Here is a review by The IB, This game is on Tony Hawks American Wasteland, THAW was released on October 18th, 2005 and it is the final game in the whole “Underground / Wasteland” trilogy. This game has become my 3rd most favorite Tony Hawk game in the entire series (only behind Pro Skater 2 and Underground 1). This game has featured a Story Mode where you can skate around in the entire city of Los Angeles without having to manually switch to a new location from the Level Select menu which means like it was advertised back in 2005; you don’t have to worry about wait for the level to loading, well, you still kind of have to, but the only difference is that you can be able to skate around in a loading tunnel in between locations at the mean time while the next location loads up; So, in a way, it still needs to load, it might sound like a little bit of false advertisement, but meh, no big deal. Aside the no loading, this game has also introduced a whole lot more stuff added into the Tony Hawk series and before the HD era begins with Project 8. Anyways, let’s start with this review.   Graphics.. The graphics are a little bit of an improvement from Underground 2 with a lot of newer graphical upgrades and seeing some of the levels return in this game, especially the levels returning from Pro Skater 1, they have seen a whole lot of graphical upgrades. I also see that this game has dramatically improved when it comes to the Frames per Second, so the graphic settings and the animations are great in this game. As for the character design in the game, they have also seen a good amount of updates as well with a lot more polygons added into the skaters and makes them a tiny bit more detailed in their looks in real life, well, this is a late PlayStation 2 game and you can expect a lot of differences with the quality of the graphics than when the PlayStation 2 was first released, and this is like a year before the PS3 debut, so you can expect to be t... Grand Theft Auto V

Review of GTA V
Here is a review by The IB, This game is on Grand Theft Auto V. Grand Theft Auto V was released on September 17th, 2013 on the PlayStation 3 (and Xbox 360) and later released on the PS4, XBone, and PC. For the first time ever since GTA 2, you control more than 1 protagonist who happens to be Michael De Santa (A former Bank robber who has retired the game and wants to raise a family), Franklin Clinton (A former repo man who wants to make a living), and Trevor Philips (well, he is pretty self-explanatory, he’s crazy, that is all). This game has introduced a ton of new and interesting features that has returned from a past GTA game and is very new to the series. You follow these 2 character’s storyline as individual storylines where all 3 storyline merges into one giant storyline filled with heists, multi-person missions, and a bunch of other things for the player to like about this game. I feel like this is the best game that Rockstar has put out there in public since GTA San Andreas which could end up rival that other game Rockstar has made. Anyways, let’s move onto this review.   Graphics.. For the graphics of this game, it was a really huge upgrade than we have seen with GTA IV, after GTA IV seem like it was all bleached and dimmed out, I think after experiencing with the RAGE game engine for 5 1/2 years since GTA IV was released back in 2008, this gives Rockstar plenty of time to make up for all the faulty graphics that the last games has had, although it wasn’t too bad though. If you move onto 2013, This is truly a HD video game where all the graphics looks a whole lot more “life-like” and a lot of people, especially modern gamers, they much prefer modern games to be all in an unique HD format and GTA V offers a true HD format which gamers likes so much, I feel that Rockstar has added a whole lot more detailed graphics for the setting of Los Santos and Blaine County, like more realistic skies, weather, vegetation, build...
