Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time 01-12-13 08:02 PM

Play this game now
All right so Legend Of Zelda is a massive video game franchise in case if you've been ignoring all events in the world and whatnot and it just so happens that Ocarina Of Time is the first entry that has been transitioned into 3D and its a great stepping stone in the series. So what separates this game from the rest of the previous Zelda titles? Well its in 3D in case if you weren't reading my review then im pretty offended but anyways other than the obvious this game introduces the humanoid-ish version of Ganondorf (the main villain in almost every Zelda game) but the humanoid-ish version is called Ganon, also since its the first 3D title the game introduces a target lock on system and as the titles suggest an ocarina plays a huge role in the game as you have to play it at certain times at the game for whichever reason. So lets begin with the graphics and for the time it was pretty good i mean yeah sure the graphics don't hold up to today's standards what with your call of battle modern war field 4 but anyways the graphics at the time it was first released was pretty impressive but there were other N64 games with a bit more impressive graphics and especially for a first time 3D game it did a pretty nice job as you go through hyrule town it has that certain charm with people wandering around during daytime and of course everyone is at home during night. The graphics come in handy during the dungeons as it really seems that you are actually in a dungeon pretty trippy huh? So in short the visual aspect of Ocarina Of Time is pretty to look at and it has that charm to it &nb... Read the rest of this Review

Legend of Dragoon, The 01-02-13 11:38 PM

Legend of Dragoon=Amazing
Legend of Dragoon is game that may seem like a been there done that kind of game Legend of Dragoon offers a great in depth story all though it may be hard to understand at times and all though it has been compared to final fantasy there are elements that separate it from final fantasy such as (the pretty obvious) dragoon transformation which every character you control will have their own elemental dragoon spirit.
The graphics all though not the best it can still amaze you at times such as looking at detailed towns and castles and there are various assortments of environments so not one place will look the same. The game play as previously mentioned before is turn based style with what you would expect attack, magic, potions, defend, and the option to run away. And a new strategic system called addition is added on the game which can be really helpful although it takes time to get used to the addition as it takes great precision to execute additions. Also dragoon spirits allow you to transform into a human dragon hybrid that increases both physical and magical attacks and take note once you turn into a dragoon it wont last all through out the battle as it only is limited to specific number of turns called spirit points but you can increase spirit points as you progress through your battles, and as soon as your party's spirit points reach max a yin yang icon will appear giving you the option to turn all of your current party into a dragoon. As mentioned before every party member has either a elemental or non elemental dragoon spirit and be careful as if you fight a water based enemy and you choose a specific member to turn into a fire based dragoon you will have a slight disadvantage (it really depends on what level your enemy is and what level you are). Also there are multiple use items that either provide defense for a specific member for a number of turns or makes an enemy confused and attack... Read the rest of this Review
