The blue bomber
Hey guys, xiledx here, and here is my review for the first game the blue bomber was in: Mega man. Back in the day mega man was pretty much the icon of capcom. Now a days, not really. So, how does the game hold up today? Let us find out.

The graphics: 8
The graphics are very good for a game of this age. The animations are fluid, and everything is quite detailed. In fact, the reason the the blue bomber is blue, is because the nes and the most shades of blue than any other colour.

The sound: 10
The sound and  music? It is epic. The sounds are good, and used in the right areas. The music, is one of the main things mega man is known for is the music. It is very fitting, and is epic in general. Also, I like that it has victory music when you kill a robot master. It makes me feel like I actually accomplished something.

The addictiveness: 8
The game is very fun, and it is something that I would play again and again. Trying challenges is fun, for example, mega buster only, don't take any damage etc. You can go through most of the stages in any order that you want, which makes it have a bigger replay value.

The story: 8
The story goes like this. Dr Light and Dr Wily went to the same university. At one point, Dr Wily becomes jealous of Dr Light's success, and takes 6 of Dr Light's robot masters. Mega man, having a strong sense of justice, asks Dr Light to be converted into a battle robot. After some adjusting, he becomes the blue bomber we all know and love.

The depth: 7
The game is quite long. You have to go and do the first 6 robot masters, and then go through Wily fortress. All the robot masters have weaknesses, making it easier to destroy them when using the correct weapon. Using the right weapon can be key, and you ca use them for different uses too. For example, you can use the ice beam to freeze your enemies in place, you can use the magnet beam to bypass certain obstacles etc.

A must have for nes owners!
Hi guys, this is my first review, so sorry if it isn't that good. So, let's just jump right in

Graphics: 8

I give the graphics an eight because this was the best graphics of its time. '(for consoles at least) Just look at the atari games and look at these ones. Yeah, way better.

Sound: 9

I give the sound a nine because all the sounds are different and if you make me listen to any of the games sound or music, I can tell what mario is doing and if he is in an underwater level, and underground level, or an above ground level.

Addictiveness: 10

I give the addictiveness  a ten because no matter how many times I play this game, I still always want to come back to it.

Story: 3

The story isn't one if its best stuff. All it is is bowser kidnapped princess toadstool (or princess peach if you prefer) and Mario has to save her.

Depth: 6

I give the depth a 6 because there are 32 levels, which is a lot already, but there are lots of secrets too. Lots of pipes that you can go to and there are lots of secret blocks (one of which has killed me once)

Difficulty: 7

I give the difficulty a 7 because it gets harder and harder as it goes on, and then it can get very hard later on in the game. (it starts to get hard for me when the hammer bros come to play)

Overall:9.4

This game is a must have for people who have an nes, or anyone that wants to play retro games. If you see an opportunity to get this game, and you have the system get it. Whether it be on its own or in a collection just get it. You won't be sorry.
