it's not THAT bad!....
Today you're about to hear a review about robotech:the macross saga,a bashed game,(IGN gave it a 5 out of 10)but does it suck that bad?NO!The game is,to me,really fun,and that's really all that matters!
GRAPHICS:10 the graphics are really good, better than some not so "bad" games like metroid fusion.the graphics are strikingly similar to gundam seed assault.(like, really alike).sure, sometimes bullets blend in with the background, but that almost never happened! So graphics were beautiful!
SOUND:my least favorite part is the sound.it sounds like a game on the NES,not that it's horrible,I liked the music,I just think it was a bit...quaint.and don't blame the game boy advance for this, games like minish cap had higher quality sound, but overall, the sound effects and music were great.
ADDICTIVENESS:I personally found the game to be really, really, fun,so much that I beat the campaign(to be fair it's very short) in 1 segment.there are 2 level types, 2 forced perspective view levels,(top down),and 8 sidescrolling.both allow you to shoot everything in sight till you're in jail!So yes,a+ for addictiveness.
STORY:spoiler alert if you haven't watched robotech:the sdf-1,a massive zentraudi vessel, crashes on earth,it is reverse engineered, and restored for earth defence.the zentraudi attack earth for the sdf-1.the humans refuse to surrender it,so the zentraudi begin the attack on earth.my problem with the story is why the humans didn't give the sdf-1 back(sorry if there is a reason,I haven't watched robotech in a while)but the story although a bit cliché,was pretty good to me,so not bad although cliché is what I say about the story.(funny haw this game is "unimaginative)
DEPTH:the depth,to me was meh.of course,I don't have the game, but only this emulater(woops).the co-op sounds interesting,as well as versus,if you could have CPUs at least in versus I would have rated higher, anyways, there are 6 characters to unlock, all relative... Read the rest of this Review
