Harvest Moon 64 giant glitch: try showing Karen your dog, over and over, and see what happens! (Just keep showing her, it takes awhile!)
Super Asteroids, Missile Command ok, why can i not figure out how to shoot?
D-Pad Hero This is harder than playing an actual guitar.
Oregon Trail, The Yes that is annoying. I'm not sure if posting outside urls is against the rules, but at http://www.virtualapple.org/oregontraildisk.html you can find the full game. Im going to pm the link to Davideo and maybe he'll be able to fix it.
Urbz, The - Sims in the City to kikigotswag: if your referring to the language spoken by the characters you cant change it, its a fake language created just for the Sims games. Its called "simlish" I think.

Oregon Trail, The

Journeying West
The year is 1848. From the largely unsettled regions of the American West come tales of mountains spilling over with gold. Dreams of a better life fuel the countless covered wagons that stream towards the Oregon Territory. Families stock up on supplies and steel themselves as they prepare to endure the perilous road ahead. Disease, bandits, wild animals, drought, hunger, high mountain passes, barren desert, disastrous weather: these lie in wait in some of the roughest country known to man. Though it will take every ounce of wit and luck for the brave American Pioneer to reach the Far West, the golden horizon that awaits him there is a dream worth suffering for.

The Oregon Trail was first released in 1971 as an educational tool and has since been updated and re-released to various systems. Apple II was the first to market the game in the early 1980s, with McIntosh following in 1991. Recent releases include the Wii in 2011 and a smartphone app. Speaking from personal experience, it was an invaluable resource as a history lesson in itself, while remaining, challenging, engaging and most importantly, fun. The Oregon Trail is a simulator that transplants you into the world of the pioneer, where you must purchase and ration supplies, choose your route and departure date to Oregon, and make some tough decisions along the way. During the difficult journey you must cross rushing rivers, climb the treacherous passes of the Rockies and sustain your party through barren land void of water and grass. You will invariably encounter danger and suffer disaster. You might run out of food and be forced to hunt to keep your family fed. You may even end up leaving someone alongside the road, under a hastily fashioned cross.

Cut-scenes within the game are given alot of detail, as well as the river crossings. The hunting mini-game could have been better, and the main screen (a covered wagon going left) is a bit static.

NBA Jam

NBA Jam
Sports genre, meet your soul mate: Action! Get ready to hit the courts with the classic game that revolutionized the sports genre! The developers at Midway saw a big problem with the current state on sports games in the late 80s and early 90s: they were relatively slow paced, even boring. Controls and game-play were often difficult and hard to learn. Basically, this meant that most sports titles ostracized a key demographic: teens and preteens. Success within the genre paled in comparison to platformers like Sonic and Mario. So the folks at Midway set out to create a game that not just adult males would want to play, but also their kids. They released the game initially to arcades where it outshone competitors, leading to its home console version.

The controls and game-play of NBA Jam were deliberately simplified. Rather than a full roster, the game's officially licensed NBA teams consisted of its two best known players and games were played 2-on-2. All rules (besides a shot-clock and goal-tending) were thrown out the window, turning elbowing into an art form (playing against an expert "elbow-er" inevitably led to shouts of "Hey, no fair!"). Sinking baskets really took no skill, just an in-game player with good stats. Play as Shaq or Abdul-Jabbar and the threes would drop like flies. To add some action, in-game physics (or lack there-of) allowed players to jump twice their own height, spinning and twisting mid-dunk. Three consecutive shots and the player was officially declared "On Fire!" giving him increased speed and accuracy, and setting the ball ablaze, of course. Getting into on-fire mode late in the third or fourth quarters gave the player the chance of realizing every kid's dream: shattering the backboard.

These changes set NBA Jam apart and above its fellow sports titles, redefining the genre and launching a series of sequels that continue to this day.
