Mega Man 2

Blue n Cyan, He's MEGA MAN!!
Du-du-du-DU, Super fightin' robot... Du-du-du-DU!! MEGA MAN!!.... Sorry for that... I was in the zone...
So, Mega Man. Oh boy, oh boy! Mega Man! Back then he was the robot that represented Capcom back in the Late '80s-early 2000s. Now-a-days he's.... Pretty much stuck in hiatus. But, you CAN'T think Capcom without thinking about Mega Man!.... Okay. Maybe Street Fighter. But STILL!! Oh jeez. I'm getting off topic. Okay then. *AHEM!*

A little history. In 1980's, Capcom was making games for the NES, seeing on how popular the console has become up to that point. Most of those games were okay ports of there arcade games like Ghosts & Goblins, Commando, 1942, etc. But in 1987, Akira Kitamura, (Please tell if I spelled that wrong) and Keiji Inafune developed a new intellectual property for Capcom. With some help, Capcom released Rockman on December 17, 1990. With the US following suit with Mega Man that same day. But Europeans got it THREE YEARS LATER in 1990! (Dang it PAL region. You and your tricks!!)

The game wasn't that well received... Hmm... I wonder why? I'M LOOKING AT YOU, NORTH AMERICAN BOX-ART! But a year later. They released the second game: Rockman 2: Dr. Wily no Nazo! (The Mystery of Dr. Wily!), and... I think you know the rest...

STORY: If you played the last game, Dr. Wily (The Antagonist) stole 6 Robots that Dr. Light (Professional robot maker) made in the year 20XX. Dr. Light created 2 other robots before that: Rock, and Roll (OH! I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE, CAPCOM!) Rock, feeling angered, I guess, Wanted to be converted to a Super Fighting Robot: MEGA MAN!! He kicked Dr. Wily's hintern (German for butt) and saved the day.
However!... Dr. Wily built 8 more robot masters to destroy the world!! Of course, Mega Man kicks his butt again. Cue Mega Man 3.

GAMEPLAY: Mega Man 2 allows you to select 8 levels in any order. Which allows for alot of different ways t... Read the rest of this Review
Super Pitfall

Super Pitfall Review
THIS IS THE WORST GAME I'VE SEEN ON THE NES!!! THIS IS A TERRIBLE GAME!! If you've seen the Angry Video Game Nerd's review on it, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about! For those of you unaware, Pitfall was first on the Atari 2600. It was a classic on that little slab of wood.  Then, Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns came out on the 2600... And it was amazing! The cartridge had a special chip inside that would allow full music, and better colors in the game . Both of these games are classics (You should really try 'em out. There on this website, too!) But THIS GAME!... I don't even know were to start!
First off, Pitfall Harry looks like a blue Mario, an he walks like he's hopping on one foot! And when you die... Uhh... just see for yourselves... This game is also balls-to-the-wall NUTS with difficulty! It's mainly got to do with the controls. They're EXTREMELY stiff! And your jump arch isn't that high either. And the enemies.... Oh good grief! You best be on your toes if you want to avoid them! You have a gun... That shoots higher than almost ALL THE ENEMIES!! Did I mention that you can only get hit once, 3 lives, no continues... Yes... Worse than Ghosts N Goblins. Worse than Batman on NES. Even Worse than Mega Man & Bass!!.......... (Sorry. I just threw up a bit inside...)
The game is all about collecting things. Sounds simple right? Like a Banjo Kazooie type game? But no! These items are INVISIBLE! And you can reveal them... BUY JUMPING INTO WALLS!! What did the developers think the consumer audience was?... A bunch of MONKEYS?!?!
And what do you get at the end of the game?.... A cruddy ending... Yeah!! What's a bad NES game without one?! THIS IS AWFUL! I'm sorry David Crane (Pitfall Creator) for this piece of buffalo droppings! You'd be better off playing Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure on Super Nintendo.
That's all I gotta say, and good night! Or afternoon... Or morning- You know what ... Read the rest of this Review
