Monopoly: The Video Game is a video game based on the board game created in 1935. There has been dozens of remakes on almost every single console known to man. I played the Nintendo 64 version, which was developed by Gremlin Interactive, and published by Hasbro Interactive. The Nintendo 64 and PlayStation versions were both given decent reviews by critics, while the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were given poor ratings, and the Wii version was given a slightly plausible review. Graphics: 8

This game has good art design, but frame rate is a little bit slow. Nuff said

Sound: 7

The sound quality isn't bad at all, but the music doesn't really fit in with the gameplay. I know I might get some negative reactions from what they've just read, but hey, it's just my opinion. Watcha gonna do about it.

Gameplay: 10

You really can't go wrong with the gameplay. I personally think the gameplay is flawless. I wouldn't have had it any other way. The gamplay alone is enough to at least give the game a chance.

Creativity: 2

There really is no creativity in this game. I mean it's basically just Monopoly put into a video game. Now I know some people enjoy that, but the only thing a little bit creative is bringing the game pieces to life, but that doesn't change much

Depth: 5

There's not much to do except everything you do in Monopoly, but that's enough to give it a 5.

Lasting Appeal: 7

You could get bored after a long while of playing this game, but if you're playing with friends, that long while will be a LONG while.

Overall: 7.3

Overall, I think this game is good. But like I said before, it's nothing except Monopoly put into a video game. I mean, what's wrong with the board game... Read the rest of this Review
