Pokemon Throwback Review There isn’t a review for this game, Pokemon Throwback so I thought I would try to write one. This is only my second review of a pokemon hack. I absolutely love pokemon games and am glad the RGR has so many of them to play any ways on with the review. Graphics: 7 The creator of this hack supposedly changed the character outfits but I didn’t really notice much of a change for them. They also changed the text to get rid of the annoying caps which was nice. Not many other changes to the graphics though but Fire Red’s graphics are already great so there was no need. Sound: 8 Fire Red has great music and sounds already so no change there but the creator added an item to let you change the sounds to the old 8-bit sounds. You can get this right at the start if you pay attention unlike me who got it at the end but it was a great change. The 8-bit sounds give the game a nostalgic feel and I love you can change to it easily. Difficulty: 5 Pokemon games are never hard to me at least and this one is no different. The only tough part is catching the legendary pokemon as you only get one masterball. It’s possible to catch them without it but takes a lot of time and patience and luck most of all. Story: 5 The story wasn’t changed at all. Your quest is to defeat the gym leaders so you can face the elite four while catching as many pokemon as you can. One day there may be more to the story hopefully but not in this hack. Addictiveness: 8 Pokemon games have always been addicting. This hack is no different. Trying to catch tough legendaries and rare pokemon is very addicting. Putting a good team together can be fun but so is going through the game with one pokemon like I did laughing as my level 80 destroys everything with ease. |

Pokemon Indescent Review Pokemon Indecent is one of the best Pokemon hacks in the RGR. The maker did a good job making the Kanto region fresh again with new pokemon and redesigned towns. Here is my review of this hack. Graphics-6 I gave it this score because the graphics is the same as other GBA Pokemon games. Sound-7.0 I gave this score because the creator didn’t change the music Addictiveness-9. I gave this score because the game offers plenty to do and you can actually complete the Pokedex which has some Gen 4 pokemon and some completely new ones as well. Story-9.0 I gave this score because while the story is still to catch them all and challenge the gyms and face the Elite Four. The creator did change some text and moved areas around. Depth-9. I gave this score because of the new pokemon and changed dialog. It also lets you complete the Pokedex. Towns have new layouts as does the routes. Difficulty-8 I gave this score because your rival is more challenging as well as the Gym leaders. Overall-9.5 I chose the score because despite the music and graphics being the same, there were many other changes made. You start seeing these changes as soon as you leave your characters bedroom. |
