Review of Contra Its been a while since my last review but that's only because I didn't have a game that I wanted to review. But after playing through and beating Contra I decided that this would be a great game. Now enough talk lets get this started Graphics For an NES game these graphics look great especially next to other games for this system such as super Mario bros and the legend of Zelda. So great start for this game. Sound The sound for this is amazing for an NES for the sole reason that guns sound like guns and explosions sound like explosions. Oh and the music is very catchy. Addictiveness Now this is a game that I would love to go back and play it's just so fun that I wish I had an NES so I could play it on an actual Nintendo console. Story Ok for story there really isn't a story. Well in the game anyway as the story was all in the instructions and well even then there is little too it so it gets a low score here. Depth Now the game isn't that long it will take you very long too complete this game due to the high difficulty. Which brings us too. Difficulty Anyone who knows about this game knows about how this game is very hard I mean the only way I was able to beat it was with the konami code. You have to be a gaming god to beat this game with out the code. If you can you will earn instant respect from me. Overall Overall this has to be one of the funnest games that I've played on the NES and a game that I will definitely come back to. I might even do playthrough of it on my youtube channel. Anyways I give this game a 9 out of 10. That's all and I hope to see you for my next review. See you then. |

My Review of Mario Kart 64 so seeing that my first two reviews were on underrated games I thought I'd do a review of a game everyone's heard of so this is my review for Mario kart 64 for the n64 (obviously). Graphics The graphics look good for the system as it shows how great 3d can be with the tracks looking brilliant and the characters look great so good start with graphics. Sound The music is great just as normal and the sounds for characters are great as well so another good thing for this game. Man its hard to find bad things about this game. Addictiveness This game is very addicting and you will always want to play this game again. But the later difficulty's in the grand prix might make you want to stop playing for awhile. Story OK the story is that bowser got fend up of capturing peach and fighting Mario and just wanted to hang out with them so they invited a bunch of friends to go karting with them but it then turned into a free for fall race where they all just want to kill each other or there was just a racing tournament since there's no real story you can just make up your own I like mine the best. Depth Well there are 4 circuits with 4 races in each and there are 3 difficulty levels and when you clear the final difficulty level you unlock mirror mode where all the stages are flipped around so yeah there's alot in this game. Difficulty Now when the difficulty starts off easy in 50cc but when you get to 150cc the computer starts to cheat don't believe me well basically the computer will somehow always be behind you and somehow always get the best items. But then again that's common for Mario kart Overall Overall this is my favourite mario kart game out of the 7 and I always look forward to playing this i'll giv... Read the rest of this Review |

Review of Wacky Races for the Nes I love wacky races. Its one of my favourite tv shows ever so I decided that my next review would be for the nes game so with out further ado lets get this review started. Graphics The graphics look good for when this came out and the character designs look great but one thing I need to say is why is Dick Dastardly wearing red on the box art it just doesn't make sense he wears his normal clothes in the game but now I'm just nitpicking. Sound I'd say the sound is all right. The music can be catchy but there isn't really anything else so that's it for sound. Addictiveness OK as I'm sure you can see this isn't a racing game but a platformer. Now I'm sure you'd think that is a bad thing but it isn't in fact I think its better as a platformer and would defiantly look forward to playing this again. Story Now there are three story's in this game. One where you have to catch the pigeon, one where you have to get a new engine for the mean machine and one where you have to save dastardly from Indians. But other than the opening and closing cutscene to the story there isn't much. Depth Ok the game will take you a couple of days to complete and once you've done it there isn't much else to do but this game is still fun for the time son the depth is ok Difficulty This game can be hard with bosses being really hard but with the stages the really hard thing about this stage is you have to go a set way to get to the end of the stage and that really annoyed me. Overall Overall this is a game that really doesn't get talked about but I feel its underrated so if your a fan of wacky races and platformers this game is for you |

review of dbz supersonic warriors so I'm a fan of dragon ball z so I decided to check this game out. Is it as good as other dbz games or is it the worst in the series lets find out. graphics graphics look good for a gba game the characters look good and the beams look great. The one problem is that all the stages look the same and their kinda bland but still graphics look good. sound the voices are good as they sound like the characters. The beams also sound nice so overall the sound is great. addictiveness I'll admit I found the game got very repetitive. Even when you change your character they act the same as even the specials act the same so I'm not sure if I would play this again. story now the story is kind of like budokai 3 basically you pick a character and you go through there side of the story. Its good but it tends to tell the story differently as it will cut out major points and even change it. For example when goku becomes a super saiyan it says that vegeta dying is what caused it but it was actually krilian who died. so the story loses points for that. depth the game goes up to the buu saga which is good with all the characters they as you even play through the villains point of view which is great and ther are loads of characters in there so it will take you a long time to complete it. there are also extra modes to play after the story is over so this game has a lot of content to keep you going for a long time. difficulty the difficulty is in the middle as the first fights are easy but the last fights can be hard but i did beat all the fights except the final one in gokus story on my first try. overall overall this is a good game if your a dbz fan and have yet to play it give it a try you won't be disappointed. |
