Super Mario Bros 3

Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario Bros. 3. A title we are all familiar with. Super Mario Bros. 3 is a fun, addicting Mario game, in which you play the role of an Italian plumber (Mario) who has once again lost track of the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, Toadstool (Peach), due to the evil designs of King Koopa (Bowser) and his children.

Overall Rating: 9.7
It takes four key elements of a game to make it good; good speed, good control, good graphics, and a good storyline. This game, in my personal opinion, contains all four.

Graphics: 9
Compared to the other two Super Mario Bros. titles for NES, the graphics look a lot better than the other two. I don't have any beef with the graphics at all, it's just that fun of a game to play and not really care about the graphics.

Sound: 9
The catchy tunes in Super Mario Bros. 3 play a huge roll in the fame and recognition of this game. Story: 7
The story didn't get off to a good start in the beginning. If you didn't have the instruction manual, you probably couldn't tell what the story was about unless you played one of the other 2 games or played the game itself before, but as you play through the game, you can start to tell what the story is about.

Depth: 9
This game has so much to offer. So much more power-ups, a whole lot of variety to the 8 different worlds, an overworld map (which is new), a type of item selection on the map screen, just so mu... Read the rest of this Review
