The hero of time
Third review already YAY :) Well here I go hope you enjoy it!
This game is, without a doubt, one of the best games I've ever played and also one of the best games ever made. It's been years since I last played this game. Thanks to Vizzed, I can play it again. This game has some ups and downs. Let's find out where this game stands! When you first pop the game in, you will see the stunning opening. It is no more than Link riding across Hyrule on top of a horse, and yet it manages to draw you into the game. What better way to do an opening, then by showing the gigantic over-world with our hero riding through it on horseback accompanied by peaceful music in the background.
Graphics 10 out of 10 ; At the time when it was released, 3D was rare. And Nintendo made a masterpiece out of it. Everything in the game looked very nice and everything was highly detailed It had full charm over the game, most people where highly interested in the game just because of the graphics. The colors weren’t too dark, too bright, it was perfectly laid out. Sure, it may not look realistic, but it was in the flow of the game exactly and stood out to most of the other games on the Nintendo 64. What I really like about the graphics is the facial features. Every character had many expressions programmed into their database. So, at a happy scene, the characters would have typical closed eye super happy faces on. But, in a dramatic sequence, Link's expression would change from his normal face to a worried face.
Sound 9 out of 10 ; The sounds where fully detailed of every aspect and item of the game except there was the annoying NAVI who was saying HEY, LOOK , LISTEN all the time that pissed me off sometimes (lol) the fairy was helpful in the beginning of the game but after I knew everything she was just repeating old stuff I already knew. Also Link's voice (don't get mad at me please) was like he has been kicked in the balls. Well the ... Read the rest of this Review

Great remake
Graphics: the graphics look amazing for a Game boy color game and the little animation you see when you encounter a Pokémon is really an improvement and it makes the battles more fun. The colors also look great with the scenario's. The graphics absolutely deserve the 10!
Sound: The sound from the radio was quite nice. Some of each town has variety of songs listen too. The radio also gives you a choose of what to listen to that's pretty cool. And for a game boy color game, the music is pretty awesome to listen to.
Addictiveness: Certainly an addicting game to play for all Pokémon fan lovers. Well the goal of the game is "to catch 'em all" so obviously you try to do that and it gets pretty addictive when you're at it. Also when you're trying to get all the 16(!) gym badges in this game you want to play on until you get all the badges and defeat Red.
Story: The Story was really unique It's a long journey to all the 16 gyms in Johto and in Kanto so the story is long and amazing. You start off with one of the 3 starter Pokémon; Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile and your rival would choose the direct opposite of your choice for example if I decided to get a Totodile the rival would get the opposite of the Pokémon which would be a Chicorita. And the Cyndaquil would just stay in Elms Lab permanently in the game.
Depth: The depth of the game is pretty amazing. It takes a long time to finish the game even after you defeated all the 16 gyms the E4 and the champion because after that you need to catch all 251 Pokémon's.
Difficulty: The game isn't very difficult. If you train your Pokémon's to level 50 you can easily beat the game without any problems (except from red)
So overall this is a great game and a great sequel to Red/Blue/Yellow/Green and also a great remake of Gold/Silver. Definitely one of the best P... Read the rest of this Review
