New Super Mario Bros. 2
04-07-15 08:38 AM
If I see another coin, I'm gonna...
Spoiler alert! This game has spoilers that you might not want to read unless you don't mind.

Coins, coins, coins! Oh, that's all you are going to see in New Super Mario Bros. 2! First, I'll get to each individual section, and then I'll get to some other things to talk about the game, like the whole coins, coins, coins situation.

Graphics - 10/10

So, this game is on the 3DS (exclusive!), so, most likely, you are going to play this game in the 3D mode. However, if you have vision problems or are too young, maybe not so much. Graphics are nice, and it has a 2 and a half dimension form. What I mean is that the polygons on screen are not in three dimensions, but are not in two dimensions either. This is very hard to explain in my own terms, so here's a Wikipedia article to read more. Anyways, as most 3DS games, the graphics will be doubled if you look at it at the wrong angle. But, when everything is made sure to be perfect, the graphics are sweet!

Sound - 9/10

The soundtrack was composed by Kenta Nagata, a composer who's previously worked on the Mario Kart series. The music is nice, but mostly reminds me of the music from New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which I might not be surprised of at all. However, the upbeat music in the overworld and darker music in, let's say the castles, are sure to set the mood for that level or stage.

Addictiveness - 8/10

Now, you start playing. You see everything that New Super Mario Bros. 2 has to offer, and you are amazed. You are glued to the 3DS for weeks, and can't stop playing. But then you stop playing. You aren't so hooked to the game. Then, after a break of maybe a week or two, you go back to playing. Eventually, you beat the game, and then just end there. There's nothing more to do, except play Coin Rush or go back to levels that you might have missed. That, my friends, is basically the scenario that takes place when you play this game. It becomes... Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Animal Crossing pulls it off again!
This review does contain some spoilers, so I wouldn't read on if you will go crazy about spoilers. But, if you don't care or just want to read my review, please, go ahead and read!

The beginning of the game
So, you get on the train. You meet Rover the Cat. He asks if the time and date are correct. Then, he asks you for your name. Then, he compliments your name. Then, he asks you if your name is cool or cute. After that, he'll ask you where you are going. Once you approve of the name of the town, he will show you some maps, all with different layouts, and ask you if that's what your town looks like. Finally, he'll ask you a series of questions about the town that your moving to. Then, finally, you arrive at the town. Isabelle and some villagers are there to greet you at the train station. Then, you are assumed mayor of your very own town. This, is Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's your town, and it's your decisions.

Graphics - 9/10

Well, just as any 3DS game, the graphics are 3D. However, if you move your face a little bit too far or close from the screen, things get a little weird. However, when we don't think about the 3D effects, the game looks just fine. You can see every detail of the grass and of the lovely river. But sometimes, graphics can get a little flat while you're playing. So, just look at the right angle when playing in the 3D mode or just play in the regular 2D mode!

Sound - 10/10

There is a wonderful selection of music found in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Not only is there background music while playing the game, there are over 80 songs by the wonderful K.K. Slider, a DJ at Club LOL (you'll find out when you advance in the game). You can buy these songs or request them to play on a in-game jukebox. That music plays in that room of your house. You can place multiple jukeboxes in one room. Now, there are no such thing as earbuds, where you can just bring the music with you, bu... Read the rest of this Review
Minecraft: Xbox One Edition

We're going on an adventure!
So, there it is. Minecraft for the Xbox One. I'll talk about each individual section, and then I'll talk just about some features and other things of that sort.

Graphics - 10/10
It may not seem like anything at first, but the game is truly wonderful when you think about the graphics. This version of Minecraft uses the Xbox One's HD capabilities to the fullest. All blocks, although all textures are 16-bit, look just amazing. And once you use one of the many texture packs available on the Xbox Store, oh my goodness. It's just beautiful!
Sound - 8/10
In my opinion, I don't think that the sound is really well. Noises are perfect, but the music isn't. Sometimes, I don't want to listen to the music at all (there's background music), but I have a Jukebox available with Music Discs. I either have to listen to the background music or have no music at all. May not seem as anything bad at first, but you'll notice it once your in a cave and then some scary music creeps up behind you.
Addictiveness - 7/10
Well, it's Minecraft, so there's no way you're only going to play it once. But, there are more appealing games on the Xbox One that I would like to play instead of Minecraft. But there's always that time, once in a while where I'll play some Minecraft. It can also spread throughout people. If you don't know what I mean, let me explain this to you. If one person has Minecraft, another person might want to play with that person and so he gets Minecraft. You see how it works? And then, a lot of people have Minecraft.
Story - 6/10
See, now, the main point of the story is to defeat the Ender Dragon. Now, that never actually has to be accomplished, because it just doesn't. You can just roam free around the world and do whatever you want. So, there is no real point of the game - just live and build.
Depth - 10/10
You might think that this should be lower, but it isn't. You can do absolutely anything you want in Minecraft. You can build a ho... Read the rest of this Review
Forza Motorsport 5 Limited Edition

Forza Motorsport 5 REVIEW
Wow. Just wow. This game is one of the most amazing games that I've played in, like, maybe, 10 months. I did get the Day One edition, and I got a couple more cars in the Xbox One bundle. I started out by using a McLaren P1 at the start of the game. I was going around 200 mph on that thing. There's over 30 courses, some that are reverse, and you have a whopping selection of cars. My favorite course is Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe Old Mulsanne Circuit (you'll find out what that is when you start playing), which has a nice straight line that you can get up to 250 mph, which is amazing. After getting to the 180 mph point, you can get into Tunnel Vision mode, where it will, well, look like you are seeing tunnel vision! Participate in Special Events, and maybe play with your friends on Xbox Live! This game just has so much to offer! When you start out, you get 1 car for free (but it's a bad car, so you'll need to upgrade in the upgrade shop). Oh, but, there's one thing. To participate in a specific division, you will need to buy a specific car. Cars can range from 75,000 credits (the currency, which is abbreviated as CR) to 6,000,000 credits. Every car has a ranking from D (400) to X (999). But, you must be careful what type of car you buy. You can check out its stats when you browse through cars. Also, you can rent a car, but you won't earn any credits or XP. You have 2 types of levels: Driver and Affinity. Achieving a higher Driver level will earn you more credits and XP. However, achieving a higher Affinity level will give you extra payout every time you drive. You can also decorate your car and customize. Add special stencils from Xbox Live that you can attach to your car. Also, every time you drive, your Drivatar will learn from how you play and interpret that into others' races. Get on the leaderboards and score big around the world!

If you have an Xbox One, you MUST get this game. This is a game that everyone can enjoy, but it is more of an inten... Read the rest of this Review
WarioWare D.I.Y.

WarioWare DIY REVIEW
Maybe one of the best DS games out there. It's just, amazing. I have no words to say how rich and complete it was. It was, when, maybe, April 14th? I'm not sure, but after a few hours of playing, I then could create games, music, and comics.

Okay, here's how it goes: Dr. Crygor, of Crygor Labs, has a dream while sleeping on the couch that he is playing a Wii-like system, but then several characters start popping out of the screen. Then, as soon as he wakes up, he creates the Super MakerMatic 21, which can create games, comics, and even music. You get several badges throughout the game that in return give you music by 5 different characters! There are 270 games, music, and comics by several characters, some from WarioWare: Smooth Moves and WarioWare: Touched!, such as Jimmy T. and Mona. Now they each provide you with 30 games and pieces of music.

I've created about 40 to 50 of my own original games; however you can create up to 90 of your very own games. Using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, you can view and import games from other users and developing companies.

So now, what will you create?

Oh, just the greatest loadouts!
So, I have had Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for the Xbox One for a while now. I have prestiged three times already, and working on my fourth prestige (I'm only 4 levels away, oh my gosh!) You can pick 13 slots which include a primary weapon, secondary weapon (or Combat Knife), Wildcards, Perks, Exo Launchers, Exo Abilities, and Scorestreaks. All weapons have attachments.
