Mega Man X Command Mission 08-02-14 04:06 AM

Mega Man X: Comman Mission
From start to finish the endless plots, hidden area and repeatability due to so many side things and namely the crazy high powered hidden boss rush - Megaman X fans have found this turn based RPG to be a true highlight of the series that introduces brand new playable characters right along side the three most focused ones through it's known history.
Drama, Action, Plot Twists, the list just goes on and on. The creators have set a bar with this creation that simply has not been beaten for so many years under this title. The gameplay is easy to pick up on and characters so fun to switch between it's story was so well written even gamers doing end game rushes for that special SupraForce Metal still can't get enough of those new legendary ultimate, along with several known classics like Black Zero.
From sending mission teams out to unearth special keys to locked areas, collectables, movie clips, action figures, and even a full sound track in the media department, the endless hours someone could play trying to reach 100% goes to question - did you really get everything? With a repeating ending allowing an even higher growth point, what is too powerful now?
Join X, Zero, Axel and a new cast of heroes as the Resistance Forces battle the evil forces threatening the world with their 'Ideals'! So power up your sub-tanks - this adventure is so advanced it's no wonder so many Mavericks are around, they played this game that much too! Alright you Maverick Hunters, all hands to battle stations!
WARNING!!! WARNING!!!
Mega Man X: Command Mission has arrived!

Fire Bird 10-30-11 03:40 AM

NES - Fire Bird
Unlike any other flying game with power ups that alter your weapons, FIRE BIRD offers a full 5 different ships you can pilot right off. Then as you progress into a bonus stage, you can morph the power ship into the "Fire Bird". This Fire Bird looks much like a Mecca from Gundam or Power Ranger's Megazord. However, the bonus ship and Fire Bird both offer a full array of weapons. During game play you can switch between the five starting ships at will on the spot to change your weapon style. Each craft comes with it's own levels of power that make their weapon stronger as well. Also if you switch out a ship, that ship will maintain it's power level until you call for it again.
The story goes of the enemies from an unknown have come to invade Earth and take everything over, however a great mind put together two brothers in an effort to bring forth the ultimate fighting machine, Fire Bird. Fire Bird Jet Mode and Fire Bird Combat Mode both fight on levels far beyond anything Earth has ever seen before. Now you take control of one of the brothers in this one or two player forward scrolling game. As you battle it out with the enemies from the unknown, watch for people in need of help. Pick up the people and other power ups to raise your score even higher, however be careful of those Boss fights. They are very powerful, and may only have selected weaknesses from different weapon types.
Playing through this game I couldn't help but wonder why it was never made into a full anime line or even live action. It has a good story behind it, original characters and family ties. Unlike any other shooter type there are many options that allow a very fast style of play, even when using either of the Fire Bird modes. Even then, this is the only game I've seen where you have to manually time the transformation of Fire Bird to it's full combat mode. For those of you wondering, yes th... Read the rest of this Review

El Viento 06-11-11 02:50 AM

El Viento
El Viento is the story of a cult who tried to take over in New York in the early 1900's. However the grip became a bitter feud between the two daughters of the great dark lord. One who seeks to destroy mankind and the other refusing to help. Being the sisters are both human, the good sister takes up her special weapon to combat the forces. You play as the good hero in this religious story in a side scrolling fast action with doors leading to other areas. Your weapon is a double bladed boomerang and magical spells. You start with a flame spell that deals good damage to enemies and your magical bar does go back up quite fast. This era of time the Mafia is your first challenge, fight through their teams and early weapons until you find the dark weapon. Then move right along in the story fighting Cult members, to even the darker minions of hell. Did you forget your playing the defiant daughter? That's right, your sister and father are there pulling the strings of fate while you fight with every human and inhuman cell you have.Sound quality is not the best outside the cut scenes, it offers very fast paced action with a dynamic weapon that needs only a little practice to learn well and several types of spells to unleash your holy wrath. The game's score card is kept using an EXP counter to give a more RPG feel as you progress and upgrade through the game's levels. Do expect a strong challenge right from the start as some enemies try to hide behind walls, pillars, and even inside of windows.El Viento is strongly recommend as a great Retro game for anyone who loves a great side scrolling fast action game.
