Sign up now to our annual Tecmo Super Bowl tournament. The Tecmo Super Bowl tournaments last the longest of all the tournaments I hold each year since it lasts as long as the NFL season. Just like last year, this year the tournament will begin right around the time Preseason begins which will be Thursday, August 24th.

This tournament will last for 22 weeks. The first 2 games will determine who advances into the regular games (I use this to weed out those who don't participate) and it'll also help determine who plays who during the regular games. The next 16 games are regular games and will be used to determine who goes to the elimination rounds. The last 4 games are the elimination rounds and the last round of course is the final matchup which is our Super Bowl.


Since 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2018' wont be released when this tournament begins, we'll be using 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2017' for the first 2 weeks and then we'll be using 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2018' once the regular season begins.


Requirements:
-You must live in the United States (unless you have had very little lag problems playing netplay with USA users)
-The RGR Plugin must work fine on your computer, especially for Nintendo NES games

Shortly before each song finishes, I'll give users a link to where they can rate each song and the song submitters get points for any rating above a 3 (out of 5).

I will be hosting this event on my Twitch channel and I'll be giving away a total of $250 worth of Steam Games in the form of Vizzed Raffle Tickets which can be used to redeem Steam games and other digital games including eShop, Uplay and more. The Raffle Tickets can also be traded into the Vizzed Market for 10,000 Viz each.

The more songs you rate, the higher your chances are of winning a raffle after the stream is over. Each rating you make during the stream is basically another entry in the raffle. You'll form a team with anyone and take us on in a 2 vs 2 match and if you can beat us, you and your teammate get to share the $300 worth of Digital / Steam games! The final matchup of the Bomberman '94 Tournament ends on July 12th with a final matchup taking place at 7:30 PM central time. The tournament started at the beginning of April and began with 16 of some of the best Bomberman players. It is now down to 5 players; here are those players and their overall rank (which will determine their player order):

I've never lost in the Bomberman '94 Tournament but if there ever was a year for it to happen, it could be this year. Linkums was the overall leader in the tournament for a few weeks and both Linkums and Foxyman1113 have been able to beat me this year at some point. Also due to my incredibly busy schedule this year, I've done absolutely no practicing at all and have had issues maintaining focus so we might finally have a new reigning champion

This tournament will last for 10 weeks, 6 of those weeks being regular weeks and the last 4 of those weeks being playoff weeks. The 8 teams with the most points will enter the playoffs. Every user of the winning team will get a special trophy item added to their Vizzed Market inventory.

Users will be able to choose the 300,000 Viz or can take 30 Raffle Tickets (valued at $300) that they can use to redeem any game from this page here. Users will be able to display all the trophies they've earned on their profiles (when I'm done remaking them) and they'll also be permanently enshrined on a Hall of Fame page.

If you have a tight schedule or don't know how your availability is, don't worry, you'll be able to schedule a day and time for your matchup each week. You can also get a backup player on your team who can fill in for whenever you can't make it to a match (or you can sign up as a backup player). You, your team and your opponents each week will come up with a day and time that works for all of you to do your weekly matchup. In other words, it's a very flexible tournament.

Systems we'll be playing games for include: PlayStation, Super Nintendo, Nintendo NES and TurboGrafx. Games include: Bomberman, Micro Machines, Super Spike V'Ball, Crash Bash and more. If anyone knows of any good 2 vs 2 games that I can add to this tournament, be sure to let me know.

The Video Game Music Radio is a live 24/7 stream dedicated to playing some of the best video game music. It doubles as video game trivia with a full leaderboard and prizes! You can find it here:

To put into perspective just how big of a project this is, I've been working on this on and off for the past 5+ months and easily have 400+ hours into this. This is using the Video Game Music Room which contains 134,099 songs that I've invested 100s of hours converting and adding to Vizzed (some staff members have also helped add stuff). The radio picks high rated music based on user ratings and there are a total of 76,463 song ratings among 551 different users with a total of 29,466 songs having been rated. The screenshots (360,199 user submitted) and videos (17,298 user submitted) are generated from the Retro Game Room and the Video Game Room and are based on user ratings. To sum all of that up, this radio contains 10,000s of man hours and because of that, I believe that an experience like this couldn't be replicated anywhere else on the internet.
