Happy 8 Year Anniversary & 2012 Vizzed Awards
As of Today, 12-06-12, Vizzed Board is 8 years old!
This year on vizzed we've seen some of the biggest RGR Plugin updates! Sega CD, Netplay, Video Recording, Arcade/MAME and many other new systems and features. In 2013, Vizzed will focus on expanding the site in other directions. There will be a few more RGR Plugin updates but there's been just way too much money invested into the Plugin over the past year, well over $5000 and nearly $10,000 since the RGR Plugin launched. Of course the Retro Game Room will still stay alive and continue to have new games, features and content added to it but non-RGR features that you can expect to see in 2013 includes a Battle Arena, new Item Shop, Avatar Creator, Video Game Music, Flash Game Room and much more! As promised, Arcade/MAME games are now available to everyone as of December 1st. Before they were only available to Beta testers (since they needed to be tested first) but now anyone can access them. Some games still need to be tested and renamed so keep that in mind in case you come across a game that doesn't work or if you can't find a specific game because it hasn't been named properly yet. Netplay Available to Everyone - Limited Time
Netplay is available to everyone until January 1st. This means that for the time being, you don't need a Netplay item to create Netplay sessions and everyone has access to the Netplay chat room page.
I also have a new 'United States Limited' server which is a server dedicated to Netplay and should run better than the other 'United States' server. RGR Plugin 1.951 is ready for download Click Here to Download (Click Here for a Mirror Download) Fixes some IE game incompatibility Netplay and various other systems didn't work in Internet Explorer for most people but they should now with this update. Those other systems include: TG, SGFX, SMS, GG, NGP, NGPC, WS, WSC, and AL. It also includes SNES, NES, FDS, GB, GBC, GEN and GBA when played in Mednafen. New RGR Plugin = Supports Video Recording, Sega CD and Fixes
RGR Plugin 1.94 is ready for download

EDIT: I just updated the download links with 1.941 which fixes audio lag in Mednafen systems Video Recording This is the biggest feature in this plugin release and is a very commonly requested feature. You now have the ability to record gameplay videos using the RGR Plugin. The games record with little to no lag and the best thing is, it requires no video recording knowledge and no additional software. Go ahead and start recording some videos and upload them to youtube, just be sure to place a link to the rgr game page and than add that video to the rgr game page (to help increase your videos views and likes AND to help out vizzed). If you want to earn Viz by recording videos, scroll further down this post. The supported systems include: Nintendo, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Famicom Disk System, Game Gear, Sega Master System, Turbo Grafx, Atari Lynx, Wonderswan, Wonderswan Color, SuperGrafx, Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color and Super Nintendo (SNES requires that you play in Mednafen mode, link can be found at the top left of game window). Also note that Game Boy Advance games can now be played in Mednafen and the benefit of that is Mednafen has higher video recording capabilities (as far as emulation goes, the default VBA is usually best). Game of Week & Day = Free Netplay
Normally you need to be either a powerlevel of at least 'Normal' user or have the Netplay/Laptop item in order to join netplay sessions and you need the Netplay/Laptop item in order to join sessions. I recently made it so that anyone can join and create Netplay sessions on the Game of Week and Game of Day games. Not all of the Game of Week/Day games will have multiplayer or support netplay but when they do, you might as well take advantage of it if you currently don't have access to netplay.

New Feature = RGR Game Videos & Submit Your Videos
There's now a section on the RGR games pages for youtube videos that lets you view videos specific to each game and also lets you add your own youtube videos to the game pages.
Submit your Videos If you have a youtube account with gameplay videos of games in the RGR, you can add your videos to the game pages.
