It's simple options allow a person to make a game with less troubles, good features, and alot quicker than RPG Maker 2000. You can make NES, Game Boy and some Super NES style RPG Games. Great for beginners who just want to make a decent RPG. But, it only allows up to 64 character sprites. |
| RPG Maker 2000 | RPG Maker 2000 is more advanced then RPG Maker 95, but does offer alot more options, for making more quality games, similar to RPG's on Super NES or Game Boy Advance. Because of the difficulty RPG Maker 2000 has, people usually don't finish their games with it. You can have unlimited character tile sets, and map tiles. Perfect for people willing to take ALOT of time into making a high quality RPG. A problem though, is that the graphics don't look as good as they do on RPG Maker 95. |
